I will post more hopefully tomorrow...............I have to say Cozumel was my least favorite port. More to come on that I promise...........

To Kritter and Pinkygirl, WELCOME Back ya'll!! Kritter glad to hear you had such a great cruise. And, that's great also that your weather was so nice. Please do share your news about Cozumel. Hey Pinkygirl, I'm sorry............where did you guys go? I know you mentioned it, but...............hey wait a minute I already said that. Never mind!!!!!
It's been raining here this week-end. I just got my yard mowed yesterday in time. In fact had to finish the last 5 or 10 minutes mowing in the rain. Thankgoodness there was no thunder & lightning!!! All I did was get soaked. Emily , our granddaughter, wanted to come out and help. She thought I was just playing in the rain. Silly girl. I haven't done that for 3 or 4 days anyway!!!!
Well, better go. Gots to do my eliptical torture machine thingy excercises. Got a great bill of health from my dr. Friday. He said whatever I'm doing to keep it up, cause the ol' ticker couldn't be in better shape. Plus I've lost 22 pounds!!!! DW and sometimes says we are going to par take in the excercise room on board the Magic next year on the cruise. I have to say from the pics I've seen it does look pretty darn nice. (If I make a mask of my face and I offer say.....................10 bucks would someone......................anyone take my place onboard the Magic on that eliptical torture machine!!!!!! Any takers..................PLEASE!!!!!)

I was reading through some of the stateroom reports and noticed an abundance of conflicting reviews. For example, room 2643 was rated by 5 people and given ratings of 1,2,3,4 and 5. Seems most of the complains involved noise / vibration / engines / thrusters. I'm thinking, "Hey, it's a cruise ship. There's gonna be engine noise, kids running around, nightclub music, etc. of some sort or another No Matter What Room You Book."

Right?

My guess is that the majority of complaints came from first time cruisers, or from those where the vacation was all about the room.

Thoughts?

My guess is that the majority of complaints came from first time cruisers, or from those where the vacation was all about the room.

Everyone has different standards. We have been in rooms that are rated a 2 and we had no problem with them. I think there are many factors. Yes, there will be creaking and "boat" noise. Yes, there may be people and party noise. We spend time in our cabins. I guess it all depends on what you expectations are, your cabin steward makes a difference as well. We have had fantastic ones and "eh" ones.
But I am positive I would rather be sitting in a low rated/reveiwed room on a DISNEY ship then sitting at my desk, at work, on a Monday morning.......

I think nokidz pretty much said it all. They hit that ol' nail on the head on their reply. We all have certain expectations. Each room on any deck will have it's own unique noises. Like nokidz said, it's better to be on vacation on the Disney Magic then being at work!!!

I agree. On our last cruise (our first) we had a great room, nothing to complain about except that it was close to the elevators and a high traffic area and we had alot of kids running up and down the hallway all day long. So I wouldn't pay too much attention to those reports

Hey James, we're coming your way tomorrow for the State Fair. YeeHaw!!! The weather is beautiful, so it'll be fun.

We did have to break down and get a new fridge. The old one was going to cost more to fix than the durned ole lemon was worth.While looking for a new one yesterday, we told the salespeople "anything but a Frigadaire". We ended up with a GE, supposedly made right here in Ky. I certainly wasn't planning on that coming out of our budget as well and now see our WDW trip slipping further away from me. At least I still have the cruise to look forward to.
