My spouse Alicia was flying enroute to Honolulu when her Mom passed,
It's OK I guess, as she was not lucid and mostly asleep the whole time if you can call it that. They're making arrangements later today - and I'm told it could take up to a few weeks for the final arangements to be scheduled. As I might have mentioned earlier - we achieved many near perfect moments over these last few years with her. We knew we were fighting something bad and time was growing short... so this was no surprise... and yet it is still supremely difficult. I lost my Mother many years ago - and had grown very very close to my MIL & FIL... they are/were the best a SIL could ever hope for.

Maybe that's more info than needed... but there it is. Thank U for all your prayers and kind thoughts. Remember, one of the last things my MIL was forceful about doing was attending Mass this past Sunday, so her faith was very strong and devout. All is well with her again.
At any rate - I've got to get the kids to thier first day of school now. Plus my spouse sent me an email reminder with a dozen "chores" for me to tend to... as usual < wink > ....

I know how hard it is to lose a parent, not the easiest thing to do. Thoughts and prayers going out to you, Alicia and family.

Sorry(again) that I haven't been around much. We have just had so much going on lately. In fact, we cancelled our cruise so we could use our deposit for a WDW trip. We may rebook it at a later date but haven't completely decided yet.
kinda looks like me since I got my hair cut this past week-end. Barber went alittle tooooo short. Guess I better not fall asleep in the chair any more!!!!

Pperfectmom, sorry to hear you had to cancel your cruise. I hope you will be able to rebook. I know you have had some -not so good luck - lately. Hopefully things will turn around for you and your family.
It has been rather quite on here lately. I know when I opened the door to look in this morning the door creaked and all I heard were some crickets.
