Glad you had a great time. We can't wait to see this either. We are sneaking in an Eastern St Croix in October this year. We missed not going to St Thomas last time. Hopefully we'll have better luck than Kritter. Even though a double dip CC cruise is a great alternative.

Hi Angie!

To answer your questions: "Where did I find the Disney fonts, DCL name tags, and clip art to decorate the FE?"

1) Disney Font: Try Googling "Disney Fonts"
Right Click and download your font choice. (If computer techie stuff isn't your forte, you may ask someone who has a knack for this stuff to sit with you.) Save the font "Zip File" to your desktop (or My Documents, or whatever), extract the file to your C:\Windows\fonts folder. Open Word and select your new font!

2) DCL Name Badge: Google! There is a blank badge somewhere on this forum, but I can't yet put a link on this post.
I saved the picture of the blank name badge, then inserted it into a Word document. Then I created a text box (no fill color or boarder line), added my name, placed the text box over the badge picture, and Voila! Magic Badge!

3) Disney Clip Art: Google
Save you clipart to a folder and insert it in whatever Disney Doc you're working on.

Once again I apologize for being MIA. First grade is kicking my butt, too! That, along with the road project, gardening, work, and now a broken fridge and I am overwhelmed. I'm still trying to figure a way to get my holiday WDW trip in as well. Subliminal messages do not seem to be working on DH(do they ever) so I might have to step my plan of attack up a bit.

Hello all!!!

It's been kind of busy around here. We are getting ready for our trip. We leave tomorrow morning for AZ, then we will fly out of Phoenix Sunday to Orlando!!! We are getting so excited!!! But there is still so much to do!!
I'm not sure if I will be posting at all before we leave, but maybe I can pop in and say hi from AZ!! If I don't, I hope every one has a great weekend and week!!!!!

Thanks, Grumpy-Gramps! For the DCL Name Tag!

I spent my day customizing name tags, door magenets, and working on my Fish Extender project. (Yippie!) Oh - and watching DCL videos on You Tube.

My DW is obsessed with scap book projects, so I've enlisted her help in order to persuade her over to the *Magic* side of the force. DW wasn't as enthusiastic as me ... but now I think the Mouse may have gotten to her. YES!!!

To demonstrate the extent to which my obsession as grown ... let me explain that I have plans for adding battery powered Christmas lights and a mini sound recorder to my Fishy Extender ... DW calls it my "Fish Stretcher" ... HA!

Additionally, I've designed screen prints in Visio for my family DCL vacation T-Shirts and Name Tags ... SHhhhh! It's a surprise! ( I wonder if printing iron-on t-shirt transferrs will work? )

Each family member has their own "Theme," slogan, font and color scheme:

• DD9 = Cinderella, "Princess of the Palace"
• DD7 = Ariel, "Princess of the Sea"
• DW = Jasmine, "Princess of the Castle"
• DD = Buzz Lightyear, "Dad

of Tomorrow"

The door magnets are made from photos from our WDW trip last year. PLUS - I'm planning a few special suprises for some of YOU! Yes ... Fish Extender goodlies from Kentucky! Sorry, no bourbon.

OK - gotta get a grip. More than a whole year to wait!
Aarg, ye land-locked sea-lubbers! Confess yer confounded ways for resisting the call of the open waters!

The iron on trasfers that you run through your printer and then iron on the shirt works great. My friend uses them every year to print shirts for her sons class. She gets them at Michaels craft store.

Hi Angie...I agree about our boys having fun together. Spencer is excited to go back, he misses seeing his friends on a daily basis.
