A lot of people use their first name, then their maden name and then their married name that way old friends and new friends can find you.

I don't know about all that. I have a few of those "old" friends that I really don't want to find me!

So Angie, I guess we're the only two left. You know, if I weren't too lazy to go get the phone, I just might call you

Hello everybody,

I am back and still exhausted from reading roughly 80 (!) pages in the old thread, then this one and also the "other new one" we had for a while, all in one go.

I was shocked to read about the many negative emotions resulting from the name change issue (after all, like Shakespeare said, "What's in a name? A cruise by any other word would sound as great" ;)) and sorry to see some people leave this cruise, I hope they will have lots of fun on the new cruise they have decided on.

Anyway, it seems to me that you guys have managed to put that behind you and that everything seems nice and friendly again, with or without a group name (just for the record: I love, love, love the "DIS-functional" one and would happily have that on my lanyard, but I have seen several other really nice names and I will absolutely go happily along with any name that will be decided upon).

That out of the way, I am really looking forward to getting to know everybody better here on this thread before the cruise, including celebrating the fridays together (love the countdown!), even though there is no way I will be able to post as frequently as some of you guys :worship:.

Incidentally, I confess I have taken advantage of some of us leaving this cruise as I have changed our reservation to the stateroom I believe they had: the 6634.
Originally we had the 6134, but I had read so much about the other side of the ship being better to see the Pirate Night fireworks, or Castaway Cay, or the Key West sunset, that we have now switched sides :). (Would you change the info in our roll call, if you don't mind, DizzylandDeb? Thank you!)

So anyway, if anyone is interested in switching to a secret verandah cabin, our former 6134 should still be available ;)

Have a great day everybody,

annichan

Welcome back to the board.

Wow if you caught up on all our boards you did have a lot of reading to do.

So tell me what side of the ship is better for seeing the fireworks etc? I hadn't heard anything about this before.

Well I'm off to plan the games for my son's Birthday Party. Will check in later
