Welcome new cruise mates, glad your joining. DW and I had a great weekend; her birthday went off without a hitch. DW is a Target fanatic, so being the loving DH that I am, we went to Target and to Five Guys Burgers (such romance, someone put me in for DH of the year). My Bday is coming up in a couple weeks and I will be treated to Super Wal-Mart and Sonic. (Oh the romance; everyone dry your eyes) Have a good week, and just remember we are less than a year away.

We are older parents of a 2.5 year old and she can sure go…wish I could bottle some of her energy. I’m sure when she gets older, she will have us running from one end of the park to the other. For now we keep her in a stroller for at least part of the time to slow things down a bit…I just don’t have the energy that I used to.

Well, LC wish we could have put granddaughter Emily in one of those strollers. But she is 10 years old, and I don't think she would sit still for it. I think it would have been better if DW and I got in one of the strollers and let Emily push us around!!!! Like that idea!!!
I may have mislead some of you folks with my comment about DW being a little hippy. Actually she fights to keep her weight at 100 pounds. Most of the time she weighs in around 98. Whoa!!!!!!!!!! You guys tricked me!!!! I shouldn't have said that!!! I just broke one of the major --- "You never talk about that" thingys. A guy never asks or tells a woman's age or weight!! OMG!!! I'm in big DOO DOO now!!!!! She's going to hurt me bad guys, I just know it!!! (Does anyone have a spare room I can move into for awhile???)

My feet hurt so bad the last time we went to WDW that I was limping around the parks...I would have loved to jump in DD's stroller and have DH push me around. If I could fit, he probably would have pushed me around because I think I was slowing him up.

It’s time to name our cruise. I hope everyone is as excited as I am to finally settle on a name.

Here are the details. (I hope everyone is okay with it)

1) You have to be listed on post #5 as a cruiser on this cruise in order to vote. This way we won’t have strangers naming our cruise. We've had a couple of new people join our cruise in the last few days please vote along with everyone else for the name of our cruise.
2) You can only vote once
3) PM both Angiengary AND Annichan your top pick from the list below
4) Voting starts today until October 22nd (extended because we want to make sure everyone has time to vote)

We are also tacking on 3 night on the road before WDW and 2-3 nights on the road after the cruise. We are driving from New York State and I am not looking forward to that part. We are taking our time and making stops along the way with our DD3.5. I am hoping DH finds a bargain on airfare and says we can fly.

We are hoping to book a stay for 5 nights before the cruise for an extra long vacation.

If everything works out the way we plan, we'll be staying at WDW for another ten nights after the cruise - this whole holiday is going to be so great, I can't wait for it to come around.

I only hope that it will all work out - we still need the room booking, the flight and - last but not least - our employers' OK for 3.5 weeks holiday all at once! We Germans are really lucky, we have six weeks' holiday every year (or at least most of us do), but the employer usually expects you to not take more than two consecutive weeks. I'm already working on my strategy for talking my boss into it
