well it has come down to what i DID NOT WANT to happen.....my husband informed me that we need to reschedule our cruise!!!!!! the economy has really hit hard....BUT i rescheduled for May 29th on the DREAM, for that i am really excited for but have been crying all night for having to cancel this one for i was to be cruising with some REALLY great friends i have met through the boards on a previous cruise.....so here i am feeling really lost and sad....i do have a room at the CI&S heck maybe i'll come hang out since its already paid for...


FE....who wants to take over, i can send you all the info i have.

And you will be jumping onto my cruise on the Dream... welcome aboard.

We are on a fire watch due to low humidity and high winds. Who ever heard of low humidity in NJ

Has anyone cruised on Carnival before? We are thinking of taking a short 4 day cruise just to get our son used to being on a boat. I heard they have a good children's program and is a good family cruise.

Anyone have any feedback on Carnival?

I havent been on Carnival is several years. I want to say it was about 8 years ago or so on the Imagination,out of Miami,the last time we went, and this was with my ex,and my son, there really didnt seem to be too much for kids to do,in the club.It seemed more of daycare then anything else. I cant speak for what they have now.
Just out of curiosity, what would make you think that there would be an issue with your son having to get used to being on a ship?

Dont laugh. New York City still gets some pretty vicious brush fires.In the last few years, theyve actually added a few big and brand new brush trucks to the FDNY fleet to replace the small inhouse ones they used to have.

Speaking of meetings, etc, is any one still interested in meeting the night/day before the cruise, for either drinks etc at one of the hotels, or going to dinner at one of the local on the water or walking distance restauraunts.Just guaging interest.

Hello everyone! It has been a long time since I have posted on here, but I have kept up from time to time. We have had this cruise booked forever it seems. We will be staying at CI&S on Friday night. I was lucky and got the Priceline deal earlier this year. This will be our third cruise. We had rebooked with Mommy2777 back in 2008. So sad they won't be with us this time, but I am looking forward to meeting lots of new friends. I will have my DH with me, my two DDs (9 and 11) and my mom.

I'm not laughing. NJ gets brush fires too, just usually not this early in the summer.
