No, just kidding, of course I know Bob Marley - I used to be a huge fan as a teen.

Good morning All
Speaking of Bob Marley he is one of our native sons here in Maine.
He has a Kiosk in our local Mall where you can buy anything to do with Bob Marley. Personally speaking girls I not a fan . He's not my type . Some of the stuff he acts I don't find funny. Just my own opinion.
He's on Tv every morning on one of our local channals morning show.

Has anyone cruised on Carnival before? We are thinking of taking a short 4 day cruise just to get our son used to being on a boat. I heard they have a good children's program and is a good family cruise.

Anyone have any feedback on Carnival?

The only Bob Marley we know is I would guess is about in his late 30's or early 40's. I assume Deb the one your talking about is a comedian??

I'm thinking of the Jamacian singer Bob Marley

But I googled the comedian and can understand why you don't care for the "other" Bob Marley!

Just to be perfectly clear, I was talking about the world-famous Jamaican singer Bob Marley, who died of cancer in 1981. I never heard of a 'Bob Marley' from Maine

We've done Holland American & RCCL but no Carnival sorry.

Ok so I'm a little late in joining in on the conversation, but hubby and I are both Parrotheads as well - have seen Jimmy about 5 times and have been members of our Parrothead club for about 8 years now.
As they say on Margaritaville, the music is an audio hammock! LOL

Wow!!! I'm glad to see so many Parrotheads on this cruise! (Jimmy Buffet fans are called Parrotheads) We will have to bring the newbies up to speed.

well it has come down to what i DID NOT WANT to happen.....my husband informed me that we need to reschedule our cruise!!!!!! the economy has really hit hard....BUT i rescheduled for May 29th on the DREAM, for that i am really excited for but have been crying all night for having to cancel this one for i was to be cruising with some REALLY great friends i have met through the boards on a previous cruise.....so here i am feeling really lost and sad....i do have a room at the CI&S heck maybe i'll come hang out since its already paid for...

I am so sorry to hear that you will not be coming on the cruise. I can totally understand that you are feeling sad about it!
But it seems that it is the sensible thing for you to do at this stage financially, so I admire you for going through with it and thinking economically!
And also, take heart, you will be on the Dream next year, how great is that? (And May 29th is a wonderful day of the year, it is the date of DH's and my civil wedding ).

As we are not going to join in the Fish Exchange (too much to carry, too few suitcases allowed on the plane ) I wouldn't be the right person to take that over, but I hope that one of our fellow cruisers will volunteer so that all the interested participants do not lose their chance for a Fish Exchange!
