I am definitely in the minority when it comes to F&W... we went for the first time 2 years ago and thought it was over rated... I am glad others are able to enjoy it. I thought I would never not like something at the world....:confused3

I don't know much about it but, it sounds like increased traffic to me and with 2 little kids and severe food allergies.. I can't say it is much of a draw for me. But hey, maybe other stuff in the world will be less busy?

I'm not sure where I stand. We do not have annual passes so if we go to F & W we would have to use a day's worth of a pass and would therefore want to go way before 4:00. By the time we return from the ship & get settled in at the resort, the day is half over & we're exhausted. I agree with the person who said they thought it was overrated. On the other hand, even though we did HP last year, it doesn't require separate admission & waste a day of our pass. So I'm not sure where that leaves us. I guess Dan & I are in a different position without APs. Not going to worry about it much until the time gets closer.

It's definitely not for you. It's not really a kid-friendly event, especially not for kids with food allergies.

We aren't traveling with any kids and we enjoy sampling and sharing all the different kinds of food, not to mention the beer and wine :drinking1 We are staying at the Boardwalk after the cruise so we'll be close to Epcot and we also have APs, so we can bop in and out of the parks at will.

Not sure how long you are staying, but the weekends get pretty crowded that time of year.

The MNSSHP tickets go on sale in May. We are definitely going to do that one night since Frank has never been.

I thought you guys had never been to F&W :confused3

The food we sampled at F&W was good but I guess we are spoiled. We have been fortunate to travel a lot and we have great ethnic restaurants here in Philly. So we weren't wowed by anything we tried.

I didn't want to discourage anyone who has never been so I wanted to clarify my over rated statement.

Pat finally got me here.
202 days left, I hope you have been practicing your ARRRGHs
Pirate Night is something to look forward too.

Yeah, the Disney park hours for October are out! And even though MNSSHP dates have not yet been officially communicated, I've heard that when the MK closes at 7:00 pm, that is pretty much a telltale sign that there is going to be an MNSSHP that night.

Based on that, DH and I will most probably go to MNSSHP on Tuesday, October 26th - will any of you be there too on that day?

Thats correct we were at MNSSHP last Oct after the Eastern Cruise and at 7:00 Pm the regular crowd has to leave and the only ones that can stay are the ones wearing a MNSSHP braclet on there wrist.
We are planning on going again thi year.

You do have to buy a ticket for the halloween party, they were about $65.00 last year I think. We have been three times already so I think we will do F & W.

So how many other people are staying over Sat. night and would be interested in doing Epcot Food & Wine???

We will definitely be in Epcot on that Saturday ... We are thinking about a dinner ressie at the Yachtsman, so don't know what time you guys would want to do the F & W? We were wanting to reserve a table for 8:00-ish, but we could change that if it means we can spend a couple of hours with you guys at Epcot ...

I was hoping for some pool time and then off to Epcot around 4.

Looks like spring is finally here. Sat out in the sun..finally.

Hope everybody has has a great Palm Sunday

I was wondering when are the flights on Southwest the cheapest? We are flying from Reno, Nevada to mco. I keep looking and the for the right flights is will cost $1450 for the 3 of us. Will the rates go down any from now to October? Any advice would be helpful. Thank You
