OCT 16 2010......7 Night Western.... "BRING BACK THE MAGIC"!

There are so many other things to talk about Like the following questions I have...

1) Can anyone recommend a good hotel for us to stay in the night before our cruise?

If you are interested on staying near the port, there are a few real close by. Last cruise we stayed at the Country Inn and Suites, it was very nice.

2) Do the hotels in that area have shuttles to and from the port or do we need to drive to the port and leave our vehicle for the week?

I believe most of the hotels do offer shuttle service, but you should ask to be safe.

3)Suggestions for door magnets. Mousemadness and I have seen some magnets posted that people made out of the mouse ears. Does anyone know how to do that? I would love some advise on doing this.

Some have used the magnet paper and just printed out pics or whatever and glued to the magnet paper. There are many very creative people on these boards with great ideas. there are threads devoted to these topics.

4)When making the items to go on your door do you put your child(ren)'s name on it, everyones first name or just your surname?
My reason for asking and this may sound stupid was for safety reasons. BEFORE You laugh remember this is my first cruise with a child. I'm not a freaky parent but it crossed my mind last night while talking to Monica and we decided to ask you all before we moved ahead on things.

Varying opinions on this one. We chose to put our names on them, first and last, but it's totally a personal preference.

This thread has taken a bad turn. There is no way to delete the poll. I suggest that a new thread is started for this cruise group so that this one can be closed. Continued posting in the manner that is on the last few pages could result in the meet thread being closed entirely due to violating DIS board guidelines.

Yes i do ....Just stopped by to check in have to take my dog to the vet when i get backi can get it to you i have it somewhere in my computer.

I would say the earlier the better. Maybe someone has got a better idea of when.

The new thread was started when LisaGraves (Moderator) suggested it would be nice if folks were nicer in the NEXT edition of this thread with thier general tone - which is only natural as any edgy tone has little place here if it's less than neighborly - and more importantly, the DIS forum generally rotates to a new thread when the original one gets too LONG. It has something to do with avoiding a slowing down of the whole system somehow. This was vaguely instituted last year and influenced a huge meet thread for my last Disney Cruise in August of 2008.

I'm seriously considering this sailing - but haven't quite booked it yet I'm reserved for a July Magic Northern Europe voyage in 2010 - but we're gonna switch it sometime soon. I'm over here visiting in GOOD CHEER - sorting of kicking the tires before I take the next steps... KWIM?

If I come on over though I'll be bringing 3 or up to 6 families who are planning on sailing with me in 2010. I gotta get into the nitty gritty details next - pricing and the politics of developing a consensus with my little group.

And THAT'S the part I'm really dreading... the dealing with everyone's varying preferences in guiding all into a common path! No easy feat that will be - I tell ya!
