It will be THREAD #2 of this THREAD!

Anyone wanting to join from either thread is welcome.

THE NAME WILL BE BRING BACK THE MAGIC as it has been for the past 10 months.

I think we could do both if you want too.

I think at this point this would be a great way to resolve all that has gone on.

I would hope that no one would exclude you because of your comments. I for one have no problems with you or anyone else on the board. I think we just need to move on with this name thing and get back to planning our cruise. There are so many other things to talk about Like the following questions I have...


1) Can anyone recommend a good hotel for us to stay in the night before our cruise?

We've stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in cape canaveral, it's about a 5 minute drive to the port. We plan on staying there again on the next cruise.

2) Do the hotels in that area have shuttles to and from the port or do we need to drive to the port and leave our vehicle for the week?

most do, if you plan on driving to the port you will have to pay for parking though once you get there or you can park your car at the hotel, some offer free parking if you stay there the night before.

3)Suggestions for door magnets. Mousemadness and I have seen some magnets posted that people made out of the mouse ears. Does anyone know how to do that? I would love some advise on doing this.

I've seen alot on the DiSign thread and they do customized signs. If you see a design you like, just ask them to make one for you. I've done that many times!!

we have not decided yet where we will stayoreven if we will come a day before.

BUT i think it would be cool to wake up EARLY and see the MAGIC waiting for ME......OH yeah and for everyone else too!!!

Isnt there a hotel where you can leve your car for the week and i think you can see the magic from there right???????

4)When making the items to go on your door do you put your child(ren)'s name on it, everyones first name or just your surname?
My reason for asking and this may sound stupid was for safety reasons. BEFORE You laugh remember this is my first cruise with a child. I'm not a freaky parent but it crossed my mind last night while talking to Monica and we decided to ask you all before we moved ahead on things.

I know exactly what you're talking about LOL I'm the same!!! we used nicknames last time and it still looked cute! Most people use the first names and some use the full name, it depends on the person I guess. I would do what you feel comfortable with.

You cannot.

The mods only allow ONE thread for each sailing to remain active. Otherwise there would be chaos with nobody emerging with benefits. It seems soon this thread will be closed (???) and the other will take off... until it too gets too large - then that one will close off. This sort of conduct is exactly the kind of thing which is questionable in motive. Frankly, this is ... silly. (sic)
