Pinkygurl, I guess we will put the FE outside 6605. Thanks! :)

annichan, congrats on the car! Only 1200 miles...I'd call that BRAND new!

Welcome, Penny!

pperfectmom, we got the same pin. I can't get DH to agree to another trip though. His business is too busy during the Fall months. I may look into the cost of a trip for just the kids and me...I've never even considered that before. But, why not?? Hummmmmm....something to think about.

We do plan to go in October, with family if they will ever commit already. How can i get a pin code.....I have never gotten one.......

We are in Wv this week spending time with our families....It is rainy and in comparison cold here...yuck.

Will be glad to get home and back to a normal routine...

And get my house in order as i am still to my ears in boxes.

Apparently they are e-mailed out quite randomly ... This is what I found on the subject on Mousesavers:

"If you want to have the best possible chance of getting these mailings, it's definitely a good idea to register with Disney.com and be sure to click on the boxes that indicate you're interested in Walt Disney World. You might also want to go to DisneyWorld.com and request a vacation planning video. It also appears that they may use mailing lists from DisneyStore.com, subscribers to Disney publications and Disney Rewards Visa cardholders. In short, sign up for anything Disney (especially Disney World related) you can, and keep your fingers crossed!"

This is the first time I've gotten one that I actually wanted/needed.:confused3 The strange thing is we already had a trip booked for September so they really aren't making any more money since I just moved the dates around. I am registered on all the Disney sites and enter all the contests, etc.

Shaunaday-you should definitely go with your kids. Since you have three, you could stay at a value even and it wouldn't cost that much.

Another week has gone by, so that means we have . . .

Welcome Penny! :goodvibes

Hope you are all doing great! This friday came around fast. Busy busy busy.

Hey Lynn, try calling and asking if they have one for you. We did that one time, we did not even know there was any such thing as pin codes (back in the day before we found the Dis), we had just called to book and asked if there were any disounts or specials available and the agent said "yes, as a matter of fact you have a pin code for...." We rarely get them in the mail (once) sometimes in email (a couple of times) but it seems every time we want to go we call and ask and there is something for us. When we went in Feb we originally booked under a 40% pin and then switched it to Fl Residents (44%) when those came out. :thumbsup2 Good luck!!!! :)

One recital down..three to go! :cutie:

Woohoo, thank you for the countdown! I love how you do that!

I didn't know it was Fathers' Day in the States this weekend, here in Germany we had Fathers' Day back in May (seems like our fathers are more impatient :rotfl:) - so have a great Fathers' Day everyone!

Well we're another week closer to our cruise!!!:yay::cool1::banana:
Everyone give me a Y.............. "Y"
everyone give me a A.............. "A"
everyone give me a H.............. "H"
and that spells YAH!!!!!!:yay:
Well the ol' boss man is out on vacation AGAIN!!!! That means double duty for this ol' man here. He was off last Thursday and Friday, and this coming Monday thru Wednesday. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh my aching back!!!!! But, I'll get thru it some how.
Annichan, I didn't know that the Norwegian Forest Cats were the ancestors of the Main Coons either. To be honest with you, I have never heard of the Norwegian breed before. All of the kitties we have owned,(or should I say we have been adopted by them), have been strays that we took in. All except Chloe. Our oldest, Sabrina, was a stray and she came with a bundle of surprises about 3 months after she showed up at our doorstep. She had a litter of four on board. We kept one, we named Phoebie, and the others we gave to people we knew would give them good homes. Well, Phoebie took sick a few years ago and passed away. We waited a few months, watching Sabrina's reaction to Phoebie being gone. We noticed how she really missed Phoebie. We saw an ad in our local newspaper that this lady was looking for people to give a good home to some kittens she had. They were all long hair kitties which our little Phoebie was too. So we went and picked out Chloe and brought her home. When we took her to the vet to be checked out, he told us she was a Main Coon. We looked up the breed on the internet and all of the pictures on Main Coon kitties looked just like our Chloe.
Well all, I have to go and start my yard work before it gets so hot today. We sure could use some rain down here. If anyone has some they don't want just send it down here.
And. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all our dads out there. Well all, keeping thing those Disney thoughts and dreaming those Disney Dreams. We'll be on our cruise before you know it!!!:dance3::thumbsup2

I guess after thinking about it 40% is really good but we can get a town house off property for less than 40% off at WDW...even though i would love it if we could swing the on property......uuugghhh.....

Well i can afford it.......i just feel i am being greedy with my family really, If they would have decided sooner i would have had points and i woudl rther save the money then spend that much on them.....i think...ugghhh...

:confused3:confused3:confused3 oh i dont know what to do.

Cause i did check the prices when we were on our vcation in Orlando casue when you are in the resorts you can get a bounce back for 40% off and i called and just 3 nights on property on a 2 bedroom was double the price of 3 bedroom townhouse we could get off property.

Also dont know what the percentge is exactly but we can get a good rate for DVC memebers as well.

thanks for the info though..........
decisions decisions..........

We leave WV in the morning.........I am ready to be at home!!!!!!!

Thanks for the countdown........

WOW

Not long and it will be 52.......

I am looking forward to that #####

NHPixidust...We are your opposites, we are in 6040. Although, we are hoping that as time goes by we might be able to move further back, closer to the grandkids. We keep checking the DCL site, nothing yet.

Hi Randy, Oh now that's really cool! Although I don't blame you for wanting to be closer to your grandkids!

Hey dizzi (and of course also everybody else), how's it going?
I am still busy reading up on other people's cruise trip reports, now that I have finished nenner1's. I want to write one too, it must be such fun! (I admit it would be easier writing it in German though, I wouldn't be at such a loss for the right words :)).

I have now finished reading the whole 2009 Passporter and I have already kind of figured out which excursions I would like to book (even though I am sure that I'm gonna change my mind again about ten times in the 69 weeks until we sail):

- the Tulum Ruins excursion in Cozumel, (we are really interested in that, never mind the long long ride on the bus, but we have never been to Mexico and who knows if we'll ever get another opportunity to go there)

- the Seaworld Explorer Submarine in Grand Cayman, (I can't really snorkel as I don't really see anything without my glasses and I haven't got contact lenses, so I would love to see some of the marine life without having to snorkel - and it got such a positive review in the Passporter, same as Tulum, by the way)

- nothing in Key West (we haven't been there before and are really looking forward to exploring on our own, probably taking the Conch Train or somesuch and getting off a few times to explore on the way and go for a walk)

- the Extreme Getaway Package in Castaway Cay (I would love to see the stingrays and ride a bike, I don't mind if I don't use the snorkelling equipment, but DH can still use it if he feels like it, and the float also sounds nice - I think the kayaking and walking excursion also sounds great, but since this will be our first time on CC, I suspect that it might be too much).

What do you think, can anybody recommend any of these excursions or give some advice? I know, there is still lots of time, just want to get some early opinions :)

Have a good night everyone (almost midnight here),

Annichan

We don't know what we are going to do. Although, playing/swimming with the dolphins is a must do. Just not sure if we will do it in GC or Coz.

Ok I have just finished reading all of the threads finally! A few things to add:

We have selected the early dining

Have to add my favorite Jimmy Buffett tunes:
1) One Particular Harbor
2) Life is Just a Tire Swing
3) Hula Girl at Heart
Going to the Buffett concert this Saturday at Great Woods - woo hoo!!
We have been members of the local Parrothead Club for about the past 7 years now or thereabouts.

Just signed up for the fish extender exchange and hope with do the other one as well (Secret Mickey - is that what it's called?) Just need to either buy or attempt to make my fe now.
I'll probably be more active on the board now that I'm caught up!

Finz up!
