as for boarding, last october we were #3 inside the terminal and got a boarding pass of #4!!!! but i doesnt take too long to board but i was hoping for a smaller number oh well. as for parking, it is expensive so what we did is we rented a limo with our neighbors and Stefanie aka sg4disney and split the cost. worked out fantastic! it was so much fun it was like a party on wheels. what a way to start off the cruise right? we met stefanie and her family through the disboards and we hit it off right away, in fact we made sure we rebooked the same dates for our next cruise! soooooo i want to do that again this next cruise, do i have anyone who wants to join the party limo? i know there are a few that live here in FL, i am in Vero Beach, kinda next to the Disney resort. Lynne i think you should put yer hand up first! lol

have we started an official roll call with names, ages and room numbers yet? if not i am volunteering myself to keep a list of everyone. let me know if you want me to do this, it was a HUGE help last cruise especially when it came to FE's and more importantly knowing where all our NEW friends are on the boat!

Anyone have any big plans this weekend???

We do... Jimmy Buffett concert tomorrow! We'll spend the day tailgating and then the show. To parrotheads this is like Christmas!

I'm so jealous.I kept telling DH that we needed to go to Riverbend in Cincy this year, but somehow I screwed up and missed the day the tickets went on sale. I've been looking on ebay but everything is fairly steep right now. I haven't seen Buffett in a looong time but have been listening to Radio Margaritaville constantly lately. Hope you have a great time.

Don't give up on the tickets. Ticketmaster usually will release some of the best seating as the show approaches, sometimes even the day of. These are unused promoter and the band's tickets.

I did that and got a rate for $107. I think it may have been a AAA rate though. Also, I read that you get free parking and shuttle even if you don't book the actual room and parking package. Not sure why they even sell it that way. We'll be driving down most likely from Kentucky so will definitely need a place to stay. I'm going to try to talk DH into a couple nights at WDW after the cruise for a quick fix and maybe a MNSSHP.

A rate of $107 is a GREAT DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!
We did MNSSHP before our first cruise with Dissers VERY FUN!!!

We were among the first 30 or 40 in the building for our 3 night cruise and we got boarding pass 2, which is the best you can get unless you are concierge. Our 1st cruise we were in the building around 10:15 and got a #3. Our last one we were a little late. I'd say we were in the building by 10:30 and we got #5.

Once they begin boarding (around 11:45am I think) they will select a special family to board first and then concierge and then boarding pass #2, then #2's and #3's and so on and so on. It seems as if each pass gets about 5 minutes or so. Being #5 took no more than 15 minutes after "rope drop".

First cruise a #1 2nd cruise a # 5..........neither was horrible and i wont fight for a #1 like i did the first time around i still like to be their early and take it all in

That would be fun! We could just drive up Friday afternoon, do MNSSHP and then drive to the Radisson afterward. Catch that Jen? But, what to do with all that candy? I guess we could bring it in a carry-on.

We'd still have to get up a little early on cruise day and do our traditional Cracker Barrell breakfast, or do we hit one on the way over to MNSSHP?

But then we'd miss out on all the fun we usually have the night before "marathon" packing?

I worked for Cracker Barrel for 10 years.....Great way to start the day!

I have not been on the Pc much at all the ast week.....I am soo trying to get my new house in order and my old house packed and clean.....

I have 4 more weeks to get it done but they are rollign by fast and trying to work 50 hours a week and do it is just making me exhausted and filling uo all my hours.

Yes, it was great fun! Best Buffett show I'd been to in years! We've traveled up and down the east coast to see his shows, but we've always found that he does his best in Tampa. Not only was this time not the exception, but he went way beyond the norm. Very special show... But I guess it better be for about $150 a ticket! And the tailgaite party just keeps getting better each year too! It's amazing how much thought goes into some parrothead's tailgaite parties. I would go just to enjoy that, even if I didn't have tickets! As Jimmy Buffett has said many times before "You won't see this s#$@ at Disney World".

we went to the Sebastian inlet yesterday and spent the whole day swimming and jumping off the rocks into the water....much fun! We got to see a dolphin jump in front of us!!! then to top it all off an 8ft manatee swam up to me and bumped into me, then i touched it. it was like coarse hairy rubber!!!! so cool then his little girlfriend swam up to get some lovin' from me and him awwwwww they were so sweet! yes it is illegal to "harrass" them, but i wasnt, they came to me. so i started to just swim around thinking they would go away, no, they hung out with me for about an hour! craxy huh?

I think manatess are awesome little creatures.

my son was lost out int he waters one day on a jet ski that had run out of gas and he said one came up to him and hung out for a bit.

I would love to seeone in the "wild"

As for my weekend i have been working........
Off most of day tomorrow just a meeting with District manager, but i will be doing some moveing and some cleaning!
