I think it depends on which board you're on over there. I'm a regular on the RCCL board. They are pretty chatty and our roll call thread is quite active as well.

The roll call for the Oasis 1-16-10 is very quiet. However, I keep accidently visiting the 10-16-10 roll call (can't figure out why) and it is as busy as some of the Dis meet threads.

Funny . . .someone on our cruise (next month) is also booked on the 10/16/10 Oasis sailing!!

I'm amazed how many cruises some people have booked. . .some have 2, 3 and more booked ahead already . Once I've sailed, I'll probably figure out why

Yeah, nenner's family (the wedding party from our upcoming cruise) cruises all the time on Royal Caribbean. I'm sure they do 2 or 3 per year. Mut be nice!

hey everyone!!!! we're back from our march break and had a great time visiting my family!! but.... ugh, what a long drive it is!!!

Lynn how aweful you must of felt when you got that call!!! thank goodness everything is fine!!!

Kristin thanks for the birthday wish!!! LOL it was nice to celebrate my birthday with my family this year

We took another MINI VACATION today.

I always feel like i am on vacation when we do something special here.

We took an hour out of our regular work work work and more work routine and went to the beach.

It was chilly but we wore jackets....we took a walk along the water and DD picked up seashells. There were MANY Manawar (is that how its spelled) along the edge of the water.

We saw 3 ships leaving the port......and of course i was dreaming i was on each one of them!

We took a picture with my phone but i have to send to my Dh and then he has to put email it to me for me to post it.

Then we walked down the street to get some ice cream and chocolate at KILWINS.

THen home.

I still have not gotten TIRED of living in Florida it has not become the normal or the usual to go to the beahf or see a palm tree....i hope it never does!

Lynn-that's great that you can go to the beach anytime. I keep thinking how great it would be to move to Florida and then I remember that I HATE, HATE, HATE hot weather. But I love the beach and love WDW soooooo much. I just think the summers would kill me.

Have you got pictures of your dresses yet? I think all of our Fashion Bug's have closed but I'm going to start looking around at Marshall's and TJ Maxx. and I might even start checking Goodwill out on occasion to see if they have anything amazing. At first I thought DH would be totally against the formal night dressing up so I was trying to sneak it into a conversation without making a big deal out of it. His response "Oh, that sounds like fun! We never get to be dressed up." You think you know a man....

Sometimes it's actually depressing. Like today, I walked outside for my lunch break and I'm like, "What the heck am I doing wasting a gorgeous day like this at work?" Then I answer myself, "...to pay for the cruises, dummy."

Welll I hate hate hate the coldand the snow i would much rather strip down to a bathing suit than have to put on layers of clothing... So i guess it is give and take......If the ehat bothers you , you can always go in the air conditioning!

No i dont have pics yet.....will work on it sooon!

Been soo busy, i fired my Baker so i have been the baker / manager this week. Not a fun week i am exhausted!!!!

I bought my DDs dress from goodwill the first cruise, had to do soem altering but it was WELL worth it!!!!

That is so true.
I came out of work to day and the clouds were just beautiful!

That's how it's here in So Cal. Although sometimes I wish I could have cold weather, but I don't think our palm trees out here would appreciate it!! LOL

I guess I could always go up into the mountains to cool off!

But seriously, the weather here has been just beautiful in the high 70s low 80s. It's almost time for shorts and flip flops!!

DW (barb) and I (John) will be joining you. We are in cabin # 7128, usually on the other side of the ship, this will be the first time with a cabin on the port side.
It will also be our 39th anniversary . This will be our 7th Disney cruise.
