We are looking to purchase a computer for my son for his Birthday what kind did you get????

Its a Compaq Presario CQ60 Notebook...it was the $350 Best Buy Specail a couple of weeks ago. In all honesty it is just as good as our $1100 Gateway. Even better, since it isn't all jammed up with stuff. LOL! Its only a 2GB Ram (recommend more, at least 3GB to run Vista) 250 GB Hard drive, which is small now, but we have several external drives too, so storage isn't really an issue for us. HTH!

A question for all you experienced WDW people....Does anyone know if the MNSSHP dates are any time around the time we sail..either before or after? Thought we might just arrive a little early or stay a little later to check it out. Also, how much are the tickets and when are they likely to be available??? I know that 2010 dates are still unknown, but what is your best guess, it sounds kinda fun.

And if i reme,ber correctly it was around $50-$60

It was a blast.......We went with Dissers before our Halloween Cruise.

In the past Randy, it has been on select days throughout the month of Oct. the tickets will vary in price since on select nights you can get DVC, Visa, Annual Pass, or Florida Resident discounts....... The ticket price depends upon the night but range from $50-60.00!!!!!! It is a ton of fun to go and do.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep Randy...like they said...and I think they go on sale in May..plenty of time ahead. The parties are great, a lot of people on our last cruise meet went to the one the Friday before we sailed, they had a blast! One thing I like is they let you into the park with the party ticket at 4 pm, so you can get in and run around and do some rides and stuff before the park even closes..and of course that means two sets of fireworks! Loved that. There are two parades too so if you miss the early one, there's still another one!
