Wow!! I did not realize there was a meet thread for this cruise. Thank you MJ5MOUSE and Lindy Loo for the invite. You all have been chatting for awhile.

Well, let me tell you a bit about us. It is Me - Henrietta, DH- Terrance and our 3 DDs - Hannah-10, Hailey-5 and Hillary- 3. We live in Lake Villa, IL ( north of Chicago). This will be the second Wonder cruise for me, DH and Hannah. The first for Hailey and Hillary.

We have not received any documents yet. :sad2:

That is really all we are waiting for. I am a obsessive planner so everything else is taken care of. :goodvibes

I will go back now and read the whole thread and try to catch up.

I love the Northern IL. area (in the summertime :rotfl2:

) both my son and I went to bootcamp in Great Lakes. My family and I traveled up in December of 2004 to see his graduation. Boy was it COLD.

Do you think you can meet with us at the Mickey pool 3pm on the 15th?

I'm Jules and I live in South Wales UK, I will be travelling with my DH Ian. This will be our third cruise. We have two nights in All Star Moveis before the Cruise and 11 nights in Saratoga Springs afterwards...

Last night Alie and I were searching the DIS for pictures of the staterooms, dinning areas and FOOD. Alie looked at some pictures of the Palo bruch and she said.
"I am so dreading this cruise"

I will be bringing the pins for you from Cardiff and Dublin when I visit Ireland for New Year, it is very nice to meet you, I laughed and laughed at your trippie.

I believe that you and Jason will be at Saratoga at the same time as me and Ian this year and will also be at MNSSHP on the 24th.

Believe me Ian is working on me for the 7 nighter ....

We will be at SSR 10/18-10/20 and move over to the Beach Club 10/21-10/28. And yes, we are at MNSSHP on the 24th...if you see a very large looking Mickey / Minnie combo that'll be us!

My mix up about who found which pins...Linda can tell you I'm not always the sharpest tool in the shed! :teeth:

Thank you in advance for the pins you will be picking up for us - we really appreciate it! And I'm glad you like my report - be on the lookout for some new ones in November; my parents are coming along this time and that means the opportunity for vacation hilarity is growing larger as I type (I hope!).

Oh Jules I'm SO jealous you're going to Dublin!!! It is my dream to visit Ireland. Jacob and I hope to save in the next few years for a big trip. Sure wish we could join you all for the cruise next year too!

Thanks for the welcome! To answer some of the questions, I received my cruise documents and, LindyLoo, I do think my girls will be spending lots of time in the kids club. We have the early seating for dinner, and the girls are dressing up on pirate night. My youngest will have just turned 5 the week we cruise. Isn't your daughter around that age?

We will be staying at SSR our first night, sailing for four nights on the Wonder, then back to WL for a couple of nights. We hope to visit Epcot on Thursday when we return and do MNSSHP on Fri. 10/20. If we are not completely exhausted at this point, we hope to see AK on Sat. My husband and I are DVC members, and we have been to Disney World several times. However this will be our first cruise. His parents have never been to either.

Like you I love N. IL in the summer. LOL Oh my goodness, I dread the Winter. 3:00 pm at the Mickey Pool on the 15th should not be a problem. I had planned on putting the girls swimsuits under their clothes and hanging out at the pool before sail away.

Hi Jules, Thanks for the welcome.
We are coming in the night before we sail. We are staying at the new Residence Inn in Port Canaveral. After the cruise we are going to spend a couple of days at BWV and possibly do MNSSHP on friday. We will wait to see how the girls are holding up and possibly buy tickets the day before.

Lindy Loo, tell Elouise that Hailey and Hillary loved her smilies!! Hailey goes to kindergarten and Hillary is in 3yr Pre-school. They are counting the days and watch the DCL Video at least once a day. The smilies below are from Hailey to Elouise.

kaseyC - we fly out of Milwaukee as well. We live about an hour west of Madison so it's about 3 1/2 hours to Milwaukee for us. We wanted to fly out of Madison this time but when we were looking at flights the price was about $100 more out of Madison, so we opted for Milwaukee again...we love the direct flight at least!
