Oh boy I hope mine are waiting for me when I get home!

I'm sitting in the car right now waiting for Jacob to get done as they kicked me out of the room at noon! Yet...I'm still using the hotels free wireless internet access

All those new additions to the Wonder sound amazing but It also makes me nervous they won't have it all done, or some things won't be open to us...I'll be very disappointed if we can't swim in the adult pool or the spa isn't finished and we can't do our rasul. From past travelers after drydock it doesn't sound that promising Sorry..not trying to be a downer, I know we'll have a great time anyway! However if it there is too much disappointment I will let them know it as we didn't know when we booked that it would be the first cruise after drydock or what that meant...and the only reason we do know is because of here!

Oh yeah, last night we had a blast! We're going to call it our bachelor/bachelorette party since we didn't have a real one. We went to a pizza and brewery place for the dinner and lots of drinking with all the conference people. We kept getting lots of marital advice and silly things like that. Then we went to a different resort that has an awesome bar/club with bartenders like in the movie Cocktail (Tom Cruise movie) they were blowing flames and everything, it was really cool to watch them. Finally made it back to our hotel at about 2 am. I went to bed at about 3 and got up at 7:30 since Jacob had to as well to get to the conference...so I got about 4 1/2 hours sleep....i'm getting very tired!

Is it just me or do the days seem to get longer and longer as we are getting closer? I can't stand it!
Linda, the Ritz is definitely a beautiful hotel. We have a few here in Florida.

Linda - I am glad that you took the compliment so well, Jules certainly doesn't look like that when she has been on the pop ! I was well impressed with you and Waynes goody stash, are you planning the same for the ship - I will if you will .... I have worked on the 7 night but it is still undecided, as I have promised to take Jules for Christmas, if she doesn;t get to see the Osbourne lights soon she will burst. I will make sure that she gets lots of left handed drinking in over the weekend.

Jane - nice to meet you - you are right to have worries about Jules dancing at disco night, last year she hooked up with a bunch of US strangers and danced the night away with them, this year she will be amongst friends so will most likely be worst !!

Kelly - it sounds like you had a great time last night, my sort of evening ! Hoping that we all get to have some fun like that on the ship. Please dont worry too much about the drydock, Wonder had just come out when we cruised two years ago, and there wasn't a problem, the only thing that was closed was the ESPN bar (which is now closed), everything will be fine...

Sue - Ahoy there me matey - shiver me timbers, would love to share a grog or two with you, we can then maraud around the ship, I will have to stock up on me gold coins ...

We had a kareokee (sp) party at my house with some family and friends a few years ago and I got out my Goldie Hawn Go-Go boots and guess what, they are coming on the cruise with me. hi Jane me and Jules had a very funny experience with kareoke on the ship last year, there were three ladies at the karaeoke party who couldn't sing a note, they decided to do "Aint no mountain Higher", the room was in uproar they couldn't sing a note, we have it on video. the DJ reckoned they were Destinys Child it was very funny !!

BUMPING so a newbie off the cruise forum can find us !! They were posting on the new dry docks changes and were worried about the changes not being finished by the 15th Oct. I invited them over to find us crazy lot !

Kelly, we too are a bit worried. I spoke to my TA who suggested I e mail DCL, to express my concern, then if it does go wrong,we can say we did raise concerns prior to the trip. Perhaps we should all write,??? and scare them into thinking there will be a mutiny if its not all ready!

Hi! The newbie found you. I am so excited about this cruise. Actually I started reading this post a few weeks ago...just never joined in. There are seven of us cruising: me, my DH, DDs 7 and 5, my mom, MIL and FIL. We are staying at SSR Saturday night and planning on arriving at the port around 11 a.m. What time do you think we will get to start boarding?

The shot was pretty painful, but it did last for several weeks. If you have to have one, just be sure to take care of your elbow after the shot and don't over-do it. That is where I made my mistakes, I thought since the pain was so much better that I could use it as normal--OH, SO WRONG!!!
Hope things work oout for you and you don't have to have surgery too.

Im glad you found us all and welcome

Im Linda, and I will be traveling with my Husband Wayne and Daughter Elouise whos 4 going on 10! This is our first cruise and we are very excited. We are flying out from the UK in 2 weeks 1 day!! ( can you see we are on a major countdown!) on the 7th oct, same day as Kelly and Jake marry!

I guess we will board around 1pm, though as we are straight after dry dock, be prepared for it to be a bit later ( like it was last dry dock, according to toher cruisers )

We are second sitting for food, how about you ? Will your girls use the kids club? Elouise cant wait to get rid of us. for some time!

We are dressing up a bit for pirates night, are you ?
