Oct 13, 2012 Fantasy who's going

Hi there-sorry for not replying last night-blame the different time zone! Can i make a suggestion? I will have a look on the manchester airport duty free section and see if they carry it-should hopefully be cheaper and this way it doesnt take up our luggage allowance as we would buy it after we have checked our luggage in. Off to have a look and will get back to you. Btw i worked it out to $63 with todays exchange rate-i am happy for you to pay me over there.

Right forget that idea they dont stock it! Thats really surprised me as they carry a huge range. Anyway no problem i will pick you up a bottle on wednesday when i do my shopping and let you know exactly what it cost (son works there and get 10% off some items)

Whatever is easiest for you is ok with me. 10% off what a bonus!

Is there anything I can get for you from the states? :goodvibes

No problem-will let you know when i have it-just got to wait for my son to get back-he has gone to Kos for his first boys holiday and i am a wreck worrying! I need him there for the discount-i usually do a huge shop with him as it saves a fair bit.He is home wednesday.

Thanks for the offer of anything we need from the US but we have 3 days at BLT prior to the cruise and plan to spend it shopping-even with the worse exchange rate things are so much cheaper for us over there. I have already booked extra luggage for our return trip!

My husband said to ask are you on the facebook group?

Mrs. Stevenson, you make me feel pretty bad about myself with your generosity. I actually have a friend who is sailing NCL out of Boston at the end of this month. He is getting me a couple of bottles. However I didn't want to have to transport it to Florida for Bill. You are definitely a much nicer person than I am.

Thank you for your generous offer.

You are more than welcome.

Well, hello again. Do you have stateroom numbers yet? Thanks for adding the names I've added them to the 1st post :thumbsup2

Hi Trinibjill just to verify that Royfam are not doing the FE for your list.
Just got a pm from them. :)

Hey motraveler, I missed your sign in, so welcome aboard. Where in MO are you guys from? We just got back from a week at Lake of the Ozarks so if you're in that area, I was just in your neighborhood!

For dining, you don't need to dress formally, just no shorts or swim suits. My husband wears dockers and polos and the family may dress nice for formal night, but we don't go all out at all. Like Callymum said, if you're doing Palo or Remy, you need to have a dress shirt and pants, but a tie isn't required at Palo, not sure about Remy.

As for the rest, you'll hit each restaurant twice, although they'll have different menus, but you'll go to them twice, and one 3 times. Your rotation will be on your KTTW card, and yes, with 18, you'll end up split into 2 tables at a minimum!

Hi there! I live up towards Kansas City, but try to visit the lake a couple of times a summer if possible! Its a nice place for a vacation. We've been neighbors with you a time or while dirtbike/atv riding out at Rampart Range. Thanks for the info on dinners! It helps!

Is anyone else stressing out about packing yet? I am feeling like I need to pack now, just to make sure everyone has everything that they need. Any summer attire that anyone might need, I need to get now and it is all on clearnance. By Oct. in Minnesota there won't be a swimsuit or pair of flip flops in sight, only long underware, snowsuits and boots! What do people wear during the day to ports and on the ship, swim suits and cover ups, tshirts and shorts??? Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi there, we're from Massachusetts and the winter stuff is already in the stores along with the back to school. I brought my suitcases upstairs just the other day and already have things packed. :lmao:Daytime cruising is casual. We wear shorts and t-shirts and a good comfortable pair of sneakers to the ports. Same thing on board along with swimsuits and things. I did my shopping online long ago. :thumbsup2I'm all set except for a few last minute toiletries. Can't wait.:goodvibes

OMG! I walk around the house and find things that need to go with us but for some reason I feel like it's to early to pack. I'd better get the suitcases out or I will forget something for sure!

Hi all. It seems that we spent too much time away from this thread. I did reply to the PMs but I will post it here as well...Yes to the FE. Like everyone else, we have been busy this summer as well as I have been on travel for work. I did, however, while working in Cocoa Beach in June had a chance to see the Fantasy in port as well as leave port...without us!! I do have pictures of it both in port and heading out to sea and if I can figure out how to post them, I will.

I hope the next 60 days fly by. We can't wait to be on vacation and we can't wait to meet everyone!!

Eric and Dodie
