Oct 13, 2012 Fantasy who's going

Welp, if you're interested, here's the website that I used: http://24hourwristbands.com/order-custom-debossed-wristbands/

They were really fast, I think it took about 10 days to get them, and they have lime green, and the Waltograph font (the Disney font, I'm a bit surpised the DIS doesn't have it!) so if someone is interested in ordering them, they actually run about $0.99 if you order more than 50 right now. We could set up a special meet just to get them handed out!

(Oh, and they also have children's sizes for the little ones, but they don't count the adult and child sizes together for pricing)

Thanks for the link. I have been playing around with the color combinations of the bands, what fun! We probably need to wait until it is closer to the cruise date but if I would be happy to handle the ordering and bringing to the ship if people are interested in ordering them.

That is such a great idea about wearing something to recognise our Dis group.
I'm in for one anyway. I know my son and hubby won't wear one, unless i really force them haha, but I'm in fully.

I'm in the UK so will have to get off you at the first meet and pay or you can let me know what you all decide to do. :thumbsup2

You guys know I'm in! I loved having them, I even made some Wave Phone holders with carabiners so I could hang my Wave Phone from my wristband.

I also like the idea of wearing something to recognize our Dis group especially since it is not very attention getting like a lei or t-shirt and I can wear it the entire trip!

I have paypal, hopefully that will be convenient for some people.

Before I order these bands I need to know if are we going to keep the current name or did we want to take suggestions and vote on it. The name was given early on before a lot of families joined the thread. I just want to make sure that everyone is on the same page with this. :)

Does every room have a wave phone? This is something that I totally missed on the last cruise. Is this how they contact you from the kids clubs? :confused3

It is. You'll have 2 phones in your room when you can get into it. You can call a phone just by dialing a room number plus the number of the phone and you can send texts as well, which is what the clubs do now instead of the paged. They're not very big, a bit smaller than an iPhone, but it was pretty convenient to have them!

I'll try and find the picture I took of the cases that I made for our last cruise, I handed them out as part of the FE but we only had 15 cabins on that one!

Hi everyone! I haven't been on lately. I love the idea of a later meet. I missed both of ours from the back to back cruise as they were both scheduled in early in the day and it just seems to mix up with other first day activities.
I also like the idea of the bracelets to identify us. We did this on another board I was on with a pin when we went to WDW and I was amazed how many people I saw with the pins and was able to strike up a conversation with.
I can't wait for October. I have no idea what our FE gift will be, nor have I ordered a new one for this trip. Last trip our gift bags were soo big we have an entire suitcase with those gifts! I need suggestions for a nice yet easy to pack gift.

Welcome back! I also pop on and off. I've been mostly on lately. What kind of pin did you have on your bracelets?
Deciding what to bring for the FE gifts is the fun part! :thumbsup2
I think that there is a thread just about the different ideas that people have received for FE gifts.

We are definitely in for the bracelets. We are such a fun cruise group, aren't we??? :woohoo:

We're in for the bracelets too. On our Christmas cruise we all wore bells. It was a fun though noisy group. Love this idea.:cool1:I like the name of our cruise...but if it's going to be changed I need to know as this will affect a couple of my FE gifts.:rolleyes1

I like the name too, so I vote we just go with it!

Will there be a MNSSHPish theme on our cruise? I am thinking a late Oct. cruise could include some Halloween decor and characters in costume. Any thoughts or experiences?

We were on the Magic last October form the 20th to the27th and they did have trick or treating. I was Peter Pan, DW Wendy, DD, Tink, DS Captian Hook, DS Lost boy. It was so much fun. They usually will send an email three or four weeks prior to the cruise letting you know if they will have trick or treating.

Out family is on for bracelets and we like the group name also. We would do a Dis meet anytime and also we could try to setup a Palo Brunch with the group I think they have tables for eight is the most they can do together.

I got you guys for bracelets. It looks like we will be keeping the name. That will make everything easier from this point onward.

I was looking into some info about Remy and I was very surprised at the price for dining there!:scared1: After I picked myself off the floor I decided that I would still really like to eat there. It does look like it would be worth it, has anyone dined there before? What did you think.

I know on the Magic they had a private room that could seat 15-20 people in Palo, I don't know if they're creating the same sort of room on the Fantasy, brunch was a fun time though!

We were on the Dream last October 23rd and figured there would be something for Halloween but there wasn't. It was a bit of a disappointment but we had plenty of Halloween time at MNSSHP before hand.:goodvibes

I did notice last Halloween that there wasn't anything going on with the Dream until the actual 31st. Jillian and I were on the Magic during Fall Break last year, so the 15th to the 22nd and they hadn't put up any decorations or had characters in costume yet, so we may not get anything.

Of course, in the end, it's a Disney Cruise! So I'm going to have a blast regardless!!!!! :lmao:

Scott and the kids are up skiing tonight, so I'm bacheloretting it, and rented Real Steel with Hugh Jackman, I love that movie!
