Oct 13, 2012 Fantasy who's going

Babyburrito is what I used to call my oldest when she was a baby because I would wrap her up in a blanket burrito style. She was a baby burrito :goodvibes

Now she is 11 going on 16!:scared1:

Now that's cute. The 11 going on 16 - been there - done that - glad they are grown. A lot of work while you are going thru it - but once they are grown it is a proud moment - especially when they turn out great & they made me proud.

Thanks Jill!

Here's our info (at the time of cruise):
Elissa (31)
Robb (42)
Kristen (5)

I looked around a bit to understand the Fish Extender, so basically if we make/buy one then we do a little toy exchange? Sounds like fun, count us in!

Fish extenders are fun. It's cool coming back to the room and finding the goodies in the FE. You are in.

Just a note in passing. On the Magic and the Wonder the fish for the fish extender were the same on both port and starboard. On the Dream I believe the port was a fish and starboard was a seahorse. That way if you forgot what side you were on all you have to do is look at that.:goodvibes

This was a view from our verandah on deck 7. When we were docked the flag was directly below and to the left.

Was your cabin aft on this trip? I think I am seeing the ships wake. Was this your last trip on the Dream? Did you rebook onboard? I am thinking of rebooking while onboard. Is it much of a savings? I want to take a cruise during Thanksgiving week, that's probably as close as I will get to taking a Christmas Cruise. They may even have Christmas decorations up by then.

Yes, our cabin was aft. You are seeing the ships wake. Yes you can book on board. I wan't thinking about it then. Yes, you can get a discount.

The cruise line xmas trees are stored at WDW and usually they start decorating and put up the trees just before thanksgiving.
I have been on a xmas cruise it is awesome.

Yay!!! More people have joined us!!! Here are some pictures of our stateroom on the Dream and soon to be Fantasy! I LOVE the extended verandahs!

Thanks for posting the pics. This is cabin 5544? Look at all of those chairs! You could have a party out there! :grouphug:

I also like what you have named our cruise. "Fantasmic cruise on the Fantasy" I haven't been able to come up with anything yet. :confused3

Yep! That's 5544. We booked the same room for the this cruise.

Thanks! My DM and I always have a theme for our trips and I am having trouble coming up with one for this trip.

sounds like a good idea for a logo  for a "T" shirt or scarf.

Another shot of one of the pools. Can still see where the chairs are in the middle.

I know that the verandas are all that big on deck 5 forward where several of us will be, including you. Except for rooms 5024 and 5524. They may become future secret veranda rooms because of obstructions and veranda size/shape.

I believe that the veranda is bigger on deck 5 because that is where they keep the lifeboats which take up more outside space. :cool1:

hi all! saw the pic above of the verandah. are they all that big?
I found a video of a deck 7 verandah - it appears to be small - it is also one of the obstructed ones. In the video she looks down and you can see an extended deck. click below

It will be nice to have an extended verandah. We were spoiled the the deck 7 aft verandahs.

Our deck 7 aft verandah was quite large. Deck 7 is the 2nd group above the flag. There were 4 this size. The one next to us on the left (looking at the picture) wrapped around the back to the side of the ship.. Deck 6 seems to have a few more. Because of the angle you could see the neighbors well all around - above, below and the neighbors.
