I saw another thread started that talked about several fridges being lost, and concern that Disney may put a stop to the swaps because of the amount of swaps going on and having lots of fridges in storage areas.

Any way, just a thought that we should try to make arrangements to swap in person if at all possible as to not put it in storage. And also to have lots of plastic sleeves with the info all over it, well packaged so it isn't falling apart etc. Don't want to lose the fridge!

merlot sent me the picture of the fridge when its boxed up so we know what luggage services is supposed to bring us.

It may help you to make a copy of this if they need a little "help".

We just had to get a little trip in before the big one!

Hi, we had a great trip. Weather was great, and the fridge swap worked out perfectly. Princessdisneybelle handed it off to me, and then we left it in storage, along with our leftover bottles of water, for Mickeefan. I hope it will be ok, the luggage guy said fridges don't need claim checks, that's why I couldn't get one. Not sure why....but he knew all about the fridge swaps, and he said it would be fine. Fingers crossed!
