Oct. 12-16 Dream cruise

We're all booked - hopefully we'll be able to keep it!

It'll be my DH, me, DD (6), DD (2), and my parents. Booked in an aft, starboard, Deluxe Family Oceanview Room for our first Disney cruise!!

Very excited! We hope to add a few days on in WDW after. I can't wait to start planning outfits.

We are the other family that Nanmommy and Fuzznubbin mentioned. They convinced us to join them on this cruise and with Disney's reduced booking cost how could we refuse.

I will very likely be doing the Fish Extender. I sew and am looking forward to making all the fun stuff and clothing for the trip! I still have to figure out the whole FE thing though! LOL!

We are not big shoppers and so didn't really enjoy Nassau. We went over to a public beach that was nice enough, but with Castaway Cay you don't really need that! I figure there is enough to do on the boat!

My mom and dad will be joining us as well. It'll be their anniversary on the 14th, so I'm going to set them up in Palo!

Hello!! We are all booked. I have been waiting for a thread. We are telling our girls Christmas morning that they are going. This is our 4th DCL cruise. We will be in room 12510.

We are from Indiana, our twin girls will be 11 at the time of sailing. We had told them we would not be cruising again until they were 16, so this will be a big surprise. October is a great time to go (this is always the week when we go) Also this will be our 14th wedding anniversary.

We are going to do Atlantis ( I went ahead and booked the room at COmfort Suites on Paradise Island). You get the wristband to Atlantis and it is a much better value than paying the DCL price. If you have not been to Atlantis it is a must see!!!


This is our second time on the Dream.

Welcome Chrissy. Hopefully more cruisers will find this thread and we can get a Fish Extender organized. This will be our second cruise. We went October 2013 on the Dream. We plan on being October cruisers for many years and are thankful for fall break so my granddaughter doesn't have to miss school.

I'm very nervous, my son has special needs so its taken a very long time for me to agree to take the kids. I went on my first cruise on DCL-Dream a few months ago and fell in love. Hello April. My family also fell in love with the Disney Dream. We are also DVC members and will be staying on property the night before the cruise and then will go back for a couple of nights after the cruise. Gotta go to MNSSHP!

How is Vero Beach? We have never stayed there but have considered doing a week at the beach instead of the parks?

We loved Vero. It is not Disney overkill but a beautiful area. My kids are happy just sitting on a beach in the sand. They have great little extras (making necklaces, plates, shirts) you can add on for $5, campfire songs stuff like that. It is just a great getaway.

Hi there! This is my first post and our first cruise!!

My husband and I will be celebrating our second wedding anniversary on this cruise so any boards/fb pages and such would be great to be connected to! We really would like to get into a fish extender too if there is one starting up please let me know!

I guess we should start a list for the FE group. I think most of us who have been on the board so far want to participate. Anybody have any recommendations about how we want to set it up? My last cruise kept it open until 1 month out, and then we had about three different pixie-dust lists (including one family of three cabins that was added on three days before we sailed. Yikes!). I've seen others where they cap at so many families and then start a new group. I'm open to whatever. Anyone have a preference or recommendation?
