When we went on a Carnival Cruise last year, the tables for 8 were all by the windows and had the view. Smaller tables for 4 or 6 were on the interior of the room. We were lucky to be at a window , but our tablemates always beat us to the table and never offered us the window seats.:( Just wondering how the layout is on DCL. Also, if you have a window in one restaurant, do you have one in the others? Thanks for the info.

The only window seats are in Parrot Cay, I believe, on the starboard side of the ship. We ate lunch there one day at a table for 4, but I can't recall if there were all tables for 4 along this side of the room. There are no windows in Animator's Palate, and in Lumière's/Triton's, there are seats along the port side which have windows which look into the hallway. There are six-foot portholes on the other side of the hallway, but I don't know that I'd classify these seats as having a "view."

Thanks for the reply. Now I know we don't have to rush to our early seating. :)

We had a large table for 11 in Parrot Cay right by a window. But to tell you the truth it made me ill to look out the window. Maybe because it is so close to the water level. Out of all the restaurants, when I was in Parrot Cay I could feel the ship motion more than anywhere else. I like my ocean views from a little bit higher vantage point.

Lumiere's / Triton's has tables that are situated near windows with a view of the ocean. As you enter, the windows are on the left side, which would be the Starboard side of the ship.

I also thought I remembered windows on both sides of Parrot Cay, and I agree that there aren't windows at Animator's Palate.

Anyone else remember the windows that I mentioned?

You're correct, as usual, albiats. Windows on the starboard side of Lumière's/Triton's. Windows on both sides of Parrot Cay.

But you can also see outside if you have a table on the other side of Lumière's/Triton's. The port side of the restaurant has window walls that look out onto the hallway that connects the Atrium to the Promenade Lounge. You can look out over that hallway through the large windows along that hallway.

Yes, In Lumieres we had a table by one of the windows. Verry nice! Best view out of all the restaurants!
