Hi Meg!!! Your invites are beautiful..love the color!!!!!!!...I'm going to catch up and see if I missed anything....

you'll have plenty of time to catch up on my PJ after you're MARRIED!!!

Your invite mock up looks great! I just ordered some samples from cards and pockets so I'm happy to see your's look so good!

I ordered samples and made that mock up. It was a little frusturating, but fun! And so cool to have a visual of that it will look like. Now I just need to find a ribbon I like for the outside and what to do for the embellishment/closure!

I LOVE them...I love anything DIY. Vinnie and I went to michaels today right after we got engaged and started talking about what were going to do! You are going to have so much fun!!!

i LOVE DIY!! Most of my wedding is DIY! lol. I'm making the invites, floral, centerpieces, etc. I even handmade the cards for the bridesmaids. LOVE crafts!

Oh that FG dress is too adorable!! She's going to love it I'm sure!

Just a little update....

I asked my 4th bridesmaid to be in the wedding tonight!! She said YES of course!! Its DF's SIL. DF's brother just got married April 12th. So I'm VERY excited to have a part of his family (my future family of course) in my wedding party. He is very close to his brother, so it will be neat in the future to look at wedding pictures with all 4 of us in them and show our children.

Thanks guys!! I'm so happy to have her be a part of it. I just went to dinner at DF's parents' house and FSIL was there. She was asking me all sorts of stuff about the wedding..so much fun to have another person to talk to about it!!

Woohoo!!! So excited!!

Our PS is this thursday!! (yes..I say 3 days left cause in our house you don't count the day you're on or the day it actually happens lol!) I'm so excited!! Actually...I'm kind of calm about it. I feel like if I don't get all worked up about it it will come faster lol. (That and I don't want to work tomorrow...so I'm sad about that, then happy about the PS, so in the middle I end up freaked out lol. )
Ok..have to print out all my ideas. And I FINALLY found the flowers I'm going to use for the wedding bouquets. (I'm using silk that I'm getting from a craft store..not Disney floral) So I'm going to take some sample flowers with me for ideas and color schemes. I'm also bringing a printout of all my ideas and pics. And I have my day-planner loaded with lists and questions and ideas. (I sub for high school, and its quite boring a lot of the time, so I'm always writing ideas and stuff down..sometimes the students will even help with ideas lol)
Anything else I should bring?? Any ideas?? What really helped you at yours??

OH! And DF and I went and created our 'hard' registry today at BB&B. We're doing a Disney Honeymoon registry (our 'soft' registry) and the one we made today, so people have a choice of gift options. It was a LOT of fun!! DF and I had a blast.

Ok..um..can't think of anything else to update at the moment. I have TONS of ideas written down..but I'll type up all my plans after the PS this week.

Hey girls!!
I'm getting so hyped up about our PS in 2 days that Im on the boards all the time this week lol.

First off...we just got our guestbook in from blurb today!!! (THANK YOU CARRIE!!! For such a wonderful idea!! ) I LOVE it!! It is so gorgeous! I hope every 'gets' that they're supposed to sign the guest part AND write a little something around the photos. Maybe I'll have some family pre-sign it so everyone 'gets it'.
Anyhow..here are pics..I got to design it all myself..its awesome!!

I also finally found my flowers!!! I'm going to use cream roses & blue hydrangea with touches of white dill sprouts.
For my bouquet I will use 7 of the cream roses and 3 large hydrangea bushes..it will look kind of like this..but with more roses & hydrangea:

Like I said..it will have 7 roses and lots more hydrangea..but its a start.

Then the bridesmaids will hold just the roses (5 of them) with the dill weed sprouts. Their dresses are blue so we didn't want to try to match the blue hydrangea to their dresses...and this way I stand out.

DF's boutonniere will look kind of like this:

Like it? I hope so...Ive changed my mind about 10 times with these flowers...but now I think I REALLY have what I like..actually, everytime I go look at them I LOVE them..so they must be the ones!
And the using the silk and making them myself this is the cost breakdown:
1 bride bouquet
4 bridesmaids bouquets
1 groom bout.
4 groomsmen bouts.
2 mothers nosegays
2 grandmothers corsages
3 grandfathers bouts.
2 fathers bouts.
1 ring bearer bout.
Total: $300
And we all can keep them! And the roses I'm using look absolutely real! And feel real! They're top quality silk. Very nice.

Well...I was going to write out all my ideas that I'm taking with me to the ps Thursday, but DF is looking sleepy and I'm sure I need to head to bed too. I'll post again tomorrow!!! Night night!

The book is really nice. I think everyone will "get it", especially if you have a few "earlybirds" sign the book. It's going to make a nice souvenir of the wedding.

I really like the flowers you are using for your floral. I think you've chosen well. I did all the flowers for our original wedding in silk, so I know what a headache it is. But they were exactly what I wanted because I did it myself!

Very nice, I can't wait to hear about your PS. BTW, how long will you be in Disney? We arrive next Wednesday 5/21.

No unfortunately I won't be in Disney today. hehe I know I was bummed there is a dis meet the day before the leave to go there and the day after we come home.

BTW I LOVE you blurb book. It looks so professional very nice and will make a nice keepsake better than just a book with signatures. Also...your flowers look great too! Very real looking and nice combo. Can't wait to see them when you'll all finished!
