We will be on a 3 day cruise in March and was wondering if parents were allowed to attend with their child for any of the activities in the Oceaneer club. My DD is 4 and an only child. I'm pretty sure she won't want to stay by herself but their are some activities like the dancing with Snow White, etc. that I think she would really enjoy. Can I stay with her just for that event?

Yes, you can most definitely stay with her. It's nice because there are some great picture opportunities, especially when the characters make appearances.
Also, for parents that are worried because their child isn't completely potty trained, you can stay as well. The CM's are not allowed to help your child with anything potty related, and the child has to be in underwear, but they have no objections to the parents taking the child to the potty. On my first Disney cruise, my son who had just turned 3 was potty trained, but because of a small problem with his anatamy, his pee would shoot up when he went potty and get his clothes wet. After 3 potty "accidents", I was told he could stay in the club only if I was there with him. Since there were things I knew he didn't want to miss, I did attend with him.

Sure you can, they have an open door policy. She may surprise you and want to stay, they keep the kids very busy. Just remember to tell your DD that you are only a beep away. She can ask at anytime to have you come and get her and they will beep you. You will be given a beeper when you register her.
