Can someone tell me about Ocean Quest? My son will be 10 when we cruise next year. He used the Lab last year and liked some of the activities.

My son aged 9 ,loves it, there is a simulator of the Magic in there, and the kids can take various jobs from Captain to Navigator. You can choose various places, he did Castaway Cay, and also Panama canal, he decided to put the Magic into Castaway Cay a bit fast, 'as it took to long' and it went on the rocks. Big screens show the progress.

He loves it.

Ocean Quest is located mid-ship on Deck 2 where the conference rooms used to be. It is an area for 10-14 year olds, although they do have open time when everyone is welcome. There are video games and a ship simulator that lets you practice docking the Magic...virtually, of course. DS12 is dying to try this area out on our upcoming cruises.

There is no check in at Disney Quest ... at least from what I remember.
