We are planning a trip to Vero and really want an Ocean front room.

What are the best rooms to go with to get this?

I saw the OceanFront Studio which looks great.

Are there any 1bedrooms that are oceanfront?
If so, any special room numbers that I should request?

Thanks

The only rooms which will guarantee you an ocean view are the Beach cottage and the Ocean View Inn rooms. All others are just by chance
The ocean view inn rooms have two queen beds and the kitchenette setup like the studios. They are very spacious and the view is spectacular! I prefer to be on the top floor for the best view.

I completely agree with Candace;) As for 1bdrms....yes there are some that have ocean views. Your best bet is probably to request "top floor" if booking a 1bdrm and looking for an ocean view. The lower floors may not be able to see over the vegetation and past the beach cottages. You'll have a better chance at one with a "top floor" request though than a specific room# because if someone is already checked into that room #, they won't be able to fullfill the request and they'll put you wherever. It's all by chance though.

Pretty much everyone requests an ocean view unit when they visit VB. Since the number of those rooms is limited, many are disappointed. As already mentioned, if you really, really want one, book an Ocean View Inn Room. IMHO, those are every bit as nice as the Studios.

The good news is that no matter where your rooms ends up, you will be only a few steps away from the ocean. Nothing like actually standing on the beach if you want a view, LOL!

IMHO, the very best view of the ocean is from the top of the pool's slide. It's worth the trip up the stairs even if you don't go down the slide.

We stayed in an ocean view inn room on the second floor this past April. The view was great and it was a quick walk down the main staircase to get out, a quick walk to the lounge and near everything. Enjoy.

The difference is that Inn Rooms have two queen beds, and studios have onw queen bed and a pull out couch.

Still think the OV Inn Rooms are just as nice (if not nicer). The Ocean View Inn room we stayed in had two queen beds with a separate area that had a small sleeper sofa and the kitchenette. We had a wall of windows overlooking the ocean and a balcony that overlooked the pool. A stairway that ended next to the restaurant was just outside the door. Maybe all the OV Inn rooms aren't that nice, but we were most impressed!

Best wishes -
