OCD Princess Planners: Flights, Frights, Food, & a ToT Race, Too!!!

Momabaarjo's Training Log Week 5:
(C210k Program Week 2/Day 2)

This week was a struggle with me for exercising...both time and motivation seemed to be lacking. I did get in my 180 minutes, but only that this week. I guess I am just fustrated with the scale and continue to battle that negative feedback when I step on! My eating was better over the week, but the scale did not go down, but it did not go up either. I could have been cleaner with my eating...something has got to give and I hope it is not my motivation.

Trip Planning Update:
We have decided to wait it out a little longer before we book. Ashley got a PIN code that does not have to be used until Feb., Ann has a bounceback coming possibly when she runs the PHM, my TA is working on a deal with RunDisney, DVC renting points window is about to open...plus the fact we are all dealing with life's struggles and this busy time of the year. Don't worry we are going...we know the dates, even have our ADRs planned through, just cant agree on a hotel.

Tammie, your motivation CANT be the thing that gives!!! ;) I do know what you mean though... something always has to give. I am not sure why or how I still manage to push myself with the running, but I do. What I don't push myself to do as much any more... well let see... coupon clipping... laundry.... other chores... And scrapbooking? My hobby that I have loved for so very many years? I haven't done a single page in I am not sure how long. :sad2:

I am really looking forward to the fall trip. It will come together... I am sure of it. The dates will work for me... although I might book a separate stay outside of when our dates are...just so I can be down there a bit longer. Also, I saw on someones facebook that they were planning a 10miler in Disney next october. :scratchin wonder if that is the ToT? Wonder if they know something we don't?

Momabaarjo's Training Log Week 6:
(C210k Program Week 2/Day 3)
Exercise: 265 minutes (5 cycles of C210K)
Pounds Lost: 2.7 (unofficially, Monday is weigh in)

Wow, what a week...I am beginning to think that maybe this exercise thing is starting to become addictive. I logged 265 minutes of cardio this week and I exercised every day of the week. I had not planned to do that, in fact I kept telling myself I will take tomorrow off...but when tomorrow rolled around I told myself nah, it feels good. I also had some things happen on Friday that normally would turn me to food and emotional eating, but instead I jumped on the ellipitical and Saturday morning went outside for on of the C210K cycles and ran it (proud to say that I clocked 2-15 minute miles)...while my calorie counter says that is only a brisk walk and not even considered a run, I know I did something because today I AM SORE...yep, time for that day off! I am finding the ellipitcal getting easier each work out, and turning to using the C210K cycle almost daily instead of just riding the machine like a bike.

I think I made a break through this week with the diet. I had been following the Simple Diet Plan, which I love but it has too many rules to follow and using Spark People to log in my calories but it is just too hard to manage because I found myself having to type in all my food because a lot of what they have is inaccurate. A friend at school told be about My Fitness Pal and showed me this great thing it has to scan bar codes...well I started using My Fitness Pal on Tuesday and I am hooked! I log everything in and post comments, plus my friend at school is "My Friend" and she is able to hold me accountable and make comments back. She is amazing young lady...who has lost 40 pounds and turned into an exercise nut, plus she is funny and supportive. I am still using the basic guidelines of Simple Diet, but I am counting my calories even closer...which has lead to a loss of almost 3 pounds since Tuesday, maybe my old body has decided to give it up that maybe this 40+ lady is serious!

Congratulations on the weight loss and keeping up with the exercise. That is so hard to do, especially in the busy life of a Mom.

That's great news, Tammie! Not that you want another gadget, but the iPhone app "Lose It" is a nice way to track your weight loss. It gives you graphs, is simple to use, and I find seeing the graph go in a downward direction motivates me.

I just joined Koko Fit Club Saturday and I'm really excited about it. It is a personalized workout with an online tracker. If you're a Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers person, it also calculates your activity points for you. I love the online tracker!

thought I would give this a little "bump" since there has been no activity in over a month.

Would hate for it to get closed due to inactivity. ;)

I promise to get back in here and do some updating...maybe it will help my attitude!

So I said I would be back to update, no trip plans to update...we are still in a holding pattern as to speak looking for the best deal. Last time I checked in Ashley G. received a pin code, which I think we are going to use and book 2 rooms at POP at 30% savings (has to be done soon). Then we are holding our breath that Ann gets some kind of bounce back offer when she runs the princess in March...then there is always watching for deals Disney announces. So we may book the room at POP, but it is all subject to change. :rotfl2: Yep, totally OCD on planning and searching for the best deals.

My personal update on training. I have been pretty faithful to the whole working out thing since I last posted, although the week before Christmas I got into a funk because I am still not losing anything and gave up exercising for the week...along with any kind of diet plan. I am happy to say that I am back exercising and adding a new exercise plan into the works. Boo got me a membership to Curves for the next 6 months, hoping this will help with total body toning so along with the ellipitcal for the next 3 months (then hopefully I can get outside and really run...err walk at a brisk pace all the calories counters say) maybe I will ready for when the weather turns nicer! I did my second workout at Curves today, and let me tell you it really does not look like you would get a workout, but you do...along with the sweating and heart rate. I came home both mornings and did 30 minutes on the ellipitcal...

I have something to announce on January 1st and January 2nd...so stay tuned!

Something to announce? What?

popcorn::

I think you should be proud of yourself! Sticking to training is not easy. It is far easier to say... "I am not quite up for it today" or "the weather isn't (insert too hot, too cold, too rainy... etc.)" or any number of other reasons rather than get your rear moving.

BTW, PHM is in February :goodvibes So one less month that you all have to wait and see about a BB offer.

Thought I would share some of my pages that I have finished...

Snap out of it girl! :thumbsup2

You all can be proud of yourselves. I've set a weight goal, but I know I really need to add exercise into it. Toning at the very least. I noticed "dimples" on my arm flab...gross! I did lose some weight since October though! It's WW for me.

Thought I would share layouts from last year...New Year's Eve. We celebrated on the Boardwalk early, went to bed and got up at midnight and watched both DHS and Epcots Fireworks from our balcony...

Snap out of it girl! :thumbsup2

I know...I need to and I am coming back in 2013.

I'm not going to recognize you when you come back! You'll be so buff and fit. You can do it!!

Thanks for the encouragement...

HA HA...:rotfl:...really not that exciting, but exciting for me and there is something about putting it in writing that makes it real...

Great job with WW. I can't figure out why it is not working for me this time around. Toning is why I am going to curves...lets hope it works!

love the pages! I forgot all about you being there on NYE! What an amazing trip to be there for Christmas AND New Years!!!
