Go to a PANDAS website that lists the diagnostic criteria. Do a search for "NIMH + PANDAS" and you'll find a good site.
When kids have this, is typical for parents to say it began "overnight" or suddenly. A kid can go to sleep fine and wake up with a full blown phobia or with severe tics. The good news is, it does tend to fade away over time.....until they get strep again. Then it might be the same issue or something completely different. If you read the information and believe your son fits the PANDAS description, you need to see a pediatric neurologist.
