I also start packing about 1.5 to 2 months ahead of time, so that I am not stuck ironing everything all at one time.

Holy moly! 1 1/2 to 2?! Wowzers. I thought I was bad. You, friend, definitely take the cake. Mine's only a week ahead of time but only because I know if I started any earlier, I'd go crazy. Because Packing is half the fun of the week before! I can't deprive myself of that!

WOW, yea, a month is way to early. I'm JUST starting to make the list of stuff I gotta buy, restock the travel size case of toothpaste, shampoos, etc. DH thinks I'm obsessed with the travel size stuff!! I just don't want to waste a whole bottle if I forget it in the shower when we leave!! Yes, I do that all the time!! I MAY put stuff like the beach towels in the suit case, cause I know we won't need those, but not clothes!! I'd go nuts and have to pack/repack every other day!!
