Thanks, and that was cute. Today is a better day.

We leave 1/27 for a 3 day Wonder cruise. It is a BIG surprise for my DH and DBIL. My sis ter have been planning and planning. My DB is joining us with his son(4). We are all going to meet in Orlando airport and then take a limo to the ship. Good part is that when we arrive I am certain they will think we are going to WDW. We do not plan on telling them till we get to the ship.

We are doing this for their birthday. We can not even tell either one of them about the other because they are brothers (my sister and I married brothers) and we do not want to give away any clues. Right now my DH thinks we are going to CA. and my DBIL thinks he is going to PR. They came up with that on their own, crazy huh.

Non the less it will be great.

Okay, I have tried to not check this site so often. So far it is working, ugh! I actually got some things done. Now tonight I am back at it. I have decided to make a magnetic sign for my DB's Room. I wanted to put on there that it was their first cruise. Any thoughts? I was goign to use the DIS MM logo in lime green. I also thought about putting one on my cabin, but figured DH would get embarrased to see a sign that "Birthday Boy Inside"

I have been checking the weather everyday. The 15 day forcast shows the temps will be in the high 70's low 80's. I am not sure I can handle that.

Does anyone know what side we should stand on to see the Wonder and Magic pass on Saturday?

I am driving to northern Virginia Saturday and hope to find the toothpaste there, see I am driven. I just cannot let it go. We called the earport to make sure they have the cup, towell and candy. We are about set. Oh when I say we, it is becasue I am making my sister into an obsessive planner as well. Gotta love it.

hi ya Dee, it seems we are the only TRUELY obsesive ones here..

sorry i haven't been here much. dh was sick for the past few days and today he had to leave for NC to go do some work at his uncle's house. he should be back sunday.

with him gone i have been doing the surprise party things that i can't do without him being nosey and asking a bunch of question. i bought extra groceries that i can keep in the basement until his family arrives. chips, soda, plates, napkins, etc

oh by the way i looked at several stores for mickey toothpaste or tooth brushes..hahaha...so i am obessing about your stuff too now.. hey i don't mind really, that's what makes it fun, trying to find that one special item.

i was debating do i pay the extra $$ and have the room decorated before we go, or should i just decorate myself?? oh well i have lots of time yet. over a year according to my counter clock.

i have also been spending alot of time on the dis community boards and i was abducted into the Ya Ya group. they are very nice over there, you should come. they are all nuts and seem to be a great group of people. and i love it because the gab and post sooo much i can just about keep up.

well good luck with your mickey toothbrush and umm i don't think my dh would like the birthday boy sign either..hahahah however what if you do something like Just Cruising instead of just married.. or flat out write 1st time cruisers ? just a thought..

weather is a sticky subject, i always bring a little of everything, this way i am safe.. don't forget suntan lotion..

by the way can i ask you a HUGE favor, why you are on your cruise can you look for 2 pins for me? One is a captains choice for jan and the other is an artist choice. they would both be limited edition and found at the pin cart that comes out nightly or you would have to ask the person at the register in the shop. the mickey shop one... they are about $10.50 or so each. i can send you a money order or check...just let me know, if you can't that is ok too, i don't want to take the fun out of your cruise...

I finally found the toothbrush, just no paste.

We paid to have the rooms decorated and I will let you know whether it was worth the 30.00.

I agree with the sign. I think I will do something for my DH and nephew because they are first time cruisers.

i will keep looking for the paste in my travels. i know i will be doing alot of that this weekend. gotta get as much as possible done. i also have to wash all the bed linnings and things for our week long guests. i so miss dh's mom and niece..his sister, well, she's kinda annoying, hahaha

the first party in on the 29th at the restaraunt, the 2nd party his here at the house, so i need to decorate both. i will have the house decorated for when dh comes home from work on his bday the 28th. the restaraunt i will have to do the night before by sneaking out or something.. hmmm maybe i can do it during the day while he is at work friday, since we will be the only ones using it saturday. i am going to talk to the owner friday and set things up and i can ask him then.

today i was looking up 3 night wonder cruises between now and jan of 06. i was hoping to get a good enough price to book one somewhere in between. we will be in wdw for the week in august but it's not the same..

phishgirl....did not have time to read the entire thread but we were on the Wonder last week and from what the CM's were saying....the Aloft Club was built more "comfy" with plenty of soft sofas and bean bags because some people thought that the Stack was too harsh/institutional feeling/looking. Aloft was beautiful, but I have not seen the inside of the Stack...just wanted to pass on what the Aloft CM's told us.

I keep reading about your paste dilemma... I just want to give you the tube that's on my son's bathroom sink!!!!! (well, not really- its kind of gross and stick, and half used... you know how 7-yr olds are!) I buy it at Target all the time- guess we have it here and you don't... so sorry!!!! I haven't been to the port in a few years- is there a Target near there yet? That's only 40 minutes from my house, so they might have it there too?!!!

Enjoy your trip! I'm jealous! Rain in FL today, but its supposed to clear by later this afternoon.

And our Summer 05, summer 06 (in conjuction with cruise) and summer 07. Do I dare go on? My husband tells me to keep planning if it makes me happy. He doesn't like it when I'm not happy; cause if mama ain't happy ain't no body happy.

I can empathize with you. I too have been neglecting my emails at home and at work. I have to make a concerted effort to limit my time on the boards.

Well it is official, I have lost my mind and I made my son and his faily part of it. I went to northern VA today (where DS lives) and began my search (very innocently) for that darn toothpaste. By time we were done my son was stopping at drug stores and making my DDIL get out (she has younger legs he said) run into the stores and see if they had the tooth paste. My DGD wanted to know why I needed it so bad and when it slipped that I was taking DH on a cruise, she got upset. Amagine being so cruise savy at 8. Who would of thought. She is not gong to speak to me ever again because I am not taking her. I assured her that she may not have the opportunity to speak again if she slips and tells DH. She is usually pretty good at secrets. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Anyway, still no toothpaste. I am goign to call Target in Florida tomorrow and see if they have it and will ship me a tube. I am no longer going in search. I will now let my fingers do the walking.

I am hoping to get the pillow case done tomorrow. Does anyone know how to reverse the writing in word?

There is a drawing tool on Word that you select what you want to "flip" and you choose that option on the drawing tool. I would suggest you do a "help search" on the word FLIP and it gives you a step by step of how to do this.

Do you have Microsoft Publisher? I find it MUCH easiser to use Publisher for this type of stuff. Some use Print Shop and other programs as well for this.


Instead of a pillow case on our cruise, I made cruise T-shirts. I had the characters sign them. My family loves wearing ours!
