Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

I think I have OCD of some sort. I must do this thing with my tongue to my teeth and my hands have to like touch equally. It's really weird.

If I touch one thing with one hand, I usually have to touch it with my other hand. I have to say everything I'm saying so I can get it out of my mind.

I think I have an anxiety disorder, a mild case, too.

OMG! YES! thats like me!
If i chew on one side,i HAVE to chew on the other too! ITS CAH-RAZE-E!

I don't have OCD, but I do suffer from small anxiety attacks, and have dealt with mild depression many times. I go and see a pshycologists[sp?] about once every six months or so, and she really helps me with exersises I can do and organizing my schedule a little bit to keep me relaxed. Its nothing serious, and talking to somebody who deals with much worse things on a daily basis helps as well. :]

this thread is hilarious, keep posting people.

me; i dont think i have it but I do have my "things" haha

- i cant stand even numbers, and my tv volume has to be on an odd number lol
- i clear my throat everytime someone calls me or i call someone
- i have a habit of pushing up my glasses even when they dont need to be pushed up
- i also have to look at stuff i see in my peripheral vision
- i always look up when someone passes by
- i cant remember anything else
0h yeah i space out alot during convos with friends, but theyre used to me jaja

I have a routine that I do each night before I go to bed; I check my room, and I check my bathroom. My cell phone and jewellery have to be in a certian place.

If not, I don't fall asleep.

I also have to wear socks to sleep.

i wouldnt consider it OCD but,

- my backpack has to be zipped up.
- i check to make sure my locker is locked like 6 tiems before going to class.
- if i have to choose between 2 things it takes me literaly 10 minutes to choose.

- i get a lot of panic attacks.
- and i'm scared of like looking people i dont know in the eyes...

i know im a freak :P

all of these are me!!

Except I dont lock my locker necause Im scared I will lock my keys inside my locker. or my lock wont open.

and the volume HAS to be on either
5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19 or 20.

lol.

long story.

And ADHD and ADD. Buttt i think they are like the same thing?

i have both too.
but ADD is when you cant concentrate well and ADHD is when you are like really hyper.

i have slight OCD too.
like things in my room have to go the same ways everytime i go into it, lol.
and all my letters and numbers i write must be even... like the same size. like on a paper wile writing my name i freek out if it isnt like... even. i like stop breathing. and then i freek out. xD

I have Organizational OCD (or, in the properly organized way, CDO ;) )

My bookshelf is organized alphabetically by author's last name. My movies are alphabatized first by DVD, then cardboard case VHS, then video games, then by Disney plastic case VHS, then non-Disney plastic case VHS.

My entire room is a mess. My clothes are everywhere and nothing is where it "belongs", but I know where it is and it has to stay that way. If it isn't messy then I have to mess it up.

I organized my pantry the other day. Not alphabetically because that was just impractical (the shelf the paper towels would have gone on wasn't big enough). It's separated on the left with non-food items (like shampoo, soap, and laundry detergent) and food items on the right. My food items are in groups (Pasta Materials: including sauce, pasta, and cheese, Snack foods, Sauces: not including pasta sauce, and so on).

My mom's library is in the process of being re-organized by me. It was simply in order by subject matter, but I'm going to double check my dad's work and alphabatize by subject matter and then by author's last name within subject matter.

I'm crazy, I know.

Yes i would have this kind of OCD. i am crazy organized. u will never see my room meesy and if something is messed up i HAVE to fix it. i dont alphabatize my books or anything :rotfl: but yeah im bad.

I dont know exactly what I have but I do plenty of weird things:

* I always have to dunk every last piece of cereal under the milk before I eat it. Doesnt matter what kind of cereal it is. No clue why.
* My room has to be neat at all times. There may be clothes lying on the floor but they dont stay there for very long and while their there they have to be folded extremely neatly. My bookshelves are also all alphabetized by author and my clothes are coded.
* If I think something might bug me I have to go back and fix it so it doesnt bug me. Like if I see something that fell on the floor i'll think to myself " that's going to bug me" and then I have ot go pick it up.

I also have control problems. I hate surprises that are major. Once my parents surprised me with a trip to WDW I burst out crying and had a mojor anxiety attack because I didnt know if they forgot soemthing, or didnt pack the right clothes, and I couldnt control what they brought for me to eat.
I've also had anxiety attacks because I couldnt control things and I couldnt plan what I was going to do. I used to make myself physically sick during school because of anxiety attacks because I couldnt control what would happen and I didnt know what was going to happen. Its much better though now.

To add on to that I have this huge fear of being sick during school and when Im on roadtrips. (which is a problem because we drive to florida every year) When we go on roadtrips I cant eat at any restaurants, I can only eat things that I know wont make me sick. And if im going to be in the car for a long time and I dont have food that wont make me sick I will literally starve myself until we stop driving or I get good food. :confused3

I have a mild case of OCD

Things have to be equal.

One thing that really bothers me is when the teacher is erasing the board and they miss one small line in the corner. I stare at it all period.
