observations from my trip

i had a few thoughts from my last trip to disney and wanted to see what everyones opinion is.

1) Soarin' in my opinion was highly overrated. I waited in line for an hour and a half to see an IMAX movie that kept skipping scenes with no segway into the next.

2) Something needs to be done with star tours. this attraction was one of my favorites when i was younger but now it just seems dated.

just had to get that off my chest....On a positive note i loved mickeys philharmagic and EE which i experienced for the first time.

would it have been as overrated if you only waited 5 mins? I think its one of the best attractions for families that Disney has made in years

I really liked soarin, i can't wait to go on it on my next trip. The wait for the ride was horrible, but we were also there during the 4th of july.

I wouldn't want to wait 90 mins. for anything at WDW (well, I did wait about an hour last year at DL to go on the IASW Christmas version, and it was totally worth the wait but I digress). That's what FP is for. I usually hit Soarin' 3-4 times when at Epcot----I totally love that ride. Sorry you didn't enjoy it though.

As for ST, it's become a classic. Try it again during Star Wars weekend for the complete atmosphere and see if that helps....
