I just returned from a trip to Las Vegas. We flew TED round trip from Dulles/Washington. On the way down we were seated in row 17. The seats were very close together with very little leg room. When the person in front of me reclined their seat back, my tray was just about in my lap. It was a very tight cramped and uncomfortable ride. On the way home, we were put in row 5 which was economy plus. Were we bumped up, we had alot more room and the ride was much more comfortable or is it just the luck of your seat assignment? We took the red eye back and landed in Dulles at 6:45. A half hour before we landed my DH turned on his light to read. We got really dirty looks from the couple in front of us. Since we were only a half hour out and the pilot let us know this, was DH rude? Also, the guy in front if us that gave us the dirty look farted all the way from Las Vegas to Dulles. If he had said something I would have let him know about his SBD's!
