Hello all!

I have a question that is attached to an observation that I (and some friends of mine) had made when we were last down to The World on the Deluxe Dining Plan. We observed that some of the restaurants that we had planned (and were told were) as a 2 credit meal only charged us one credit. Now, on the surface that would seem like great news, BUT when you've planned out your meals based on the number of credits you've got and you end up with more credits than you planned for, it creates some wasted monies since you will probably be hard pressed to get another ressie that short notice and/or you just can't eat any more food from CS!

My question is this: has anyone else experienced this? Is this common practice for the Deluxe Plan? I'm trying to gauge this so that the next time we've got some alterior plans! :-)

Thanks for your help!

Until next time,
John

Let me guess... you used the Disney website to plan out your credits? The site has so many errors regarding dining plan acceptance and credits that it has gone beyond laughable to just plain sad.

If you are "stuck" with extra TS credits, you can always try to fit in another meal (last-minute reservation or walk-up), if you're flexible about where and when. There's also pizza delivery and/or room service. You could also get the TS credits converted to CS (at a 1:1 ratio) at your resort desk if you can't get or don't want another sit-down meal.

No, this is NOT common practice and I would also be curious to know which 2 TS restaurants charged you 1 credit.

All of our receipts on the DxDDP showed 1 credit used, but when comparing my credits before and after, two were taken off.

For example, we had 69 credits when we went to CRT (party of 6). I was concerned when I read the bill and was about to call our server over to have it corrected. It clearly showed 1 credit. I looked at our remaining pool of credits at the bottom - 57. So it pulled the right number from the pool - just showed as 1 on the receipt. (This happened at California Grill and Narcoossee's as well)
