So yesterday I went and saw Harry Potter again with some people who hadn't seen it yet. When we got inside the theater we sat in front of this very large....I mean humongous obese couple who had bought a BUNCH of snacks. Candy, popcorn, nachos, ect. It was really quite a sight.

Anyways there were also these 2 older women who were sitting in the same row as I was. Well, in the middle of the movie, during an important scene, this old woman stands up and yells at this couple. 'Would you quit eating already! Your making me sick to my stomach.' :scared1:

Yes they were eating a ton, but it was horrible to make a comment like that.

Same woman, about 30min later yelled at another couple of people (I think it was a mom/daughter). They were probably headed to the bathroom or something, and she said something along the lines of ' You're ruining the movie by walking out.' Again, really loud and as clear as day............

As the movie was over I was waiting outside for my friend to come back and she gave me the most dirtiest look ever.....

Old people...:rolleyes1:headache:

wow.
that's crazy.
i have never heard of anyone old being that rude at the movies before.
maybe kids but not grown women.

oh geez.
i hate people like that.....and i cant believe she would tell those people to stop eating- like who does she think she is?!?! :headache:

I would have turned around and said, "Look lady you are the one with your big mouth that is ruining the movie for everyone. So shut the bleep up!"

I hate old people like her, they have no filter and think they can say whatever they want.

I woulda told her to shut the *insertchoiceprofanityhere* up, and yes I would've used vulgar language. I have no patience for people like that.

its really really hard not to lose it with elderly people like that. she's probably suffering from dementia or something along those lines, and really, everything she thinks just falls right out of her mouth. its sad, but really, i don't think i would bring my elderly family to a movie theatre (of all places:eek:) if they acted that way in public.

last night i went to a (very expensive, very fancy) theatre to see the time travelers wife. and it wasn't an old person, it was just a loud-mouthed redneck talking loudly. about every single plot twist. but i didn't let it ruin my movie, i really loved the experience i had, and some people are just too redneck and classless to be allowed out in society, but there's nothing you can do except grin-bear it, and not let them ruin your fun.

i probably would of had put up with it cuz i have patience the size of our solar system xD

there are alot of rude people like that. I work at a theater and have to deal with them all the time. They will complain about something from the second they walk in the door. And you know what, half the time they end up not having to pay a cent. They chronic complaniers get free tickets because they have had their experiences ruined...

i agree and i would have, i dont know about you all but my rule is treat others the way you want to be treated if she wanted to be rude hell i would have been just as rude right back

that's why i usually spring the extra $$$ and go VIP.
the theatre onlye seats about 20 (or less) people, you get HUGE comfy seats AND a little table thing to put snacks on. :thumbsup2
they only have one in Toronto, but the $5 extra is TOTALLY worth it to me I've never had a bad experience with obnoxious people there.

Ugh that's terrible. She sounds so rude!

I was at an outdoor "bring your own picnic" Mozart concert with my mom last year. It was mostly people 50 and older, and the people sitting around me were so rude, especially one couple, but mainly the woman. This lady, in less than an hour, nastily accused my mom of stealing her chair (they had the same exact one, and turns out it was right behind her), yelled at an adorable little girl and her grandpa who were playing like, pattycake to shut up because they were too loud and ruining the concert for her (I don't get that...it's like, okay, so now you're the one being "loud", so you're totally making it worse), and my favorite one: she flips the heck out when a friggin' plane flies overhead. a plane! she starts pointing at the plane frantically, then to her husband, then to the stage and let out a huge, angry sigh. I was like...um, that's something you can't control. my mom and I went to the concert this year, and we were making fun of the lady from last year by pretending to flip out when a plane flew overhead :)

Anyways, I really can't believe that woman was so rude at the movies. I can't stand when older people are like that.

When we got of the ride and my mom was getting the stroller ( i dont think she noticed them ) the two girls where glaring at me if i wasnt at disney i would have smacked one of em  but while my mom wasn't looking i showed them a center finger and told em something not so nice :goodvibes

Umm, I'm pretty sure most people would get mad at someone if they were making noises during the Haunted Mansion ride like that. I know I would.

i remember that thread, and i still think you were being incredibly obnoxious. its nearly impossible to hear people in other cars, so you must have been REALLY loud. i would have been upset too.

::yes::

It's so hard to hear other people on HM. But that's sorta the point.

One time some stupid kid was yelling when we were stuck in the Graveyard scene and I was mad cause we just wanted to ride the ride and ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO HEAR WHAT THE GHOST HOST WAS SAYING.

And really, what you did catycatcat4 was very immature and rude.
