Obnoxious woman at the movies!

i remember that thread, and i still think you were being incredibly obnoxious. its nearly impossible to hear people in other cars, so you must have been REALLY loud. i would have been upset too.

Wow, that is the most incredibly obnoxious, rude, ignorant post I have ever read on the TB.

1: You had to be there to get it
2: i suck at explaning things so sometimes it comes across worse than it is.
3: i wasnt doing any thing the people around me where.
4: I failed to mention mostly kids making the noise
5: They sarted it long before we where on the ride 2 people vs Every one else that got on the ride at the same time.

Hm, nope, I don't think so.

HM is a dark ride, and is meant to be enjoyed quietly. That's why they say no flash photography, etc, so it doesn't disrupt other guests.

It doesn't matter if people were doing it before you. Just because a bunch of people do something, doesn't make it okay.

The way I see it, a bunch of people were being obnoxious and loud, and these two girls just wanted to enjoy the ride (as would I). And instead of quieting down, you decided to be rude and give them the finger.

Completely ridiculous.

Whoa, I hate people like that. Soo annoying.

That reminds me, when we were eating at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. We were seated in a room off of another room. Our table was towards the back, but there was another group of people sitting behind us. Well, whenever one of the evil stepsisters would come in this group of people (they were in there 30's maybe) would start yelling and screaming to the sisters, while the stepsisters were trying to interact with other tables. They pretended to have all these 'inside jokes' with the stepsisters and even Lady Tremaine. I got pretty even more annoyed when Anastasia was talking with us and the people were trying to ask her if they could take a picture with her! They had already taken 500 pictures with her, why would they need another one?! Plus, she was talking with US. When they were done eating, they just SAT there so they could talk to/be inside jokers with the stepsisters! Eventually the manager had to come out and ask them if they were finished and if they needed anything else, he was trying his hardest to be very polite to these very obnoxious people. They left a few minutes later. And as the CM came over to clean off the table he murmered "Finally, those people leave, they've been sitting there for three hours" Three hours?! The longest it's taken us to eat a WDW dinner was an hour and a half, they took triple that! Those people were just annoying.

I agree, I would be annoyed also if I was there.

If your mom tells a joke, the people next to you shouldn't be able to here it. You whisper it. That's what I do, whisper to my mom and tell her how cool it is, or we talk about it AFTER the ride so we dont ruin our or others experiences. It's just respectful.

Double. :p
But yeah, that's kind of crazy. It usually takes us a half hour.

That reminds kind of this lady at Up I think, this little girl kept pushing her seat every once in awhile. The lady turned around and in a rude voice told the little girl to stop. She kept doing it so the lady got up and moved to a different seat.

The girl was pretty little so she didn't know what she was doing, but I'm suprised her parents didn't stop her and the lady probably could've been nicer about it. That's the only thing I've really seen at a theater.

I hate it when people spoil things for others. It's kinda like seeing something for the hundreth time with people who have never seen it and they think it's fun to sit there and mumbled everything that's going to happen or try and narrate while everyone is trying to watch the show/movie/etc.

Oops, my bad ;]
I was thinking one hour, thanks for catching that :]

gahh, that's so annoying. lol and have you ever noticed it's usually always the adults who do stuff like that?! It's always the adults that want the attention, not the kids.

YES! One time, years ago, at Chef Mickey's we got seated next to a family of 4. Everytime the characters came around Mom had to get at least 5 pictures with both kids for each character. It looked like Mom was directing a photo shoot or something! The characters would start to walk away and come to our table after the 2nd photo. But nope, Mom wasn't having that. While WE were trying to get photos with the characters at our table, she SHOVED her kids into OUR photo!

My mom kept giving her dirty looks and the handler had to step in and tell her to back off. I may have been only 8 years old but I was flabbergasted!

As i said if you where there you would get it.
You guys just like having somthing or someone to bash. :thumbsup2

Honestly, if I had little kids making noises on the ride, I wouldn't be happy either.
And it's not like their comment was hurting you. There's a difference between 'Some people don't know how to be quiet' and screaming shut up at 5 year olds.
They weren't in the wrong. Showing your middle finger at them, and saying something that HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT THEY SAID was immature. Like how the frig are they wannabees or need a sense of humor?
There's nothing funny about kids being loud on a ride that is more spooky in silence.

There is difference between making noise on Haunted Mansion ride and make noise on Space Mountain. That was rude of people doing that.

oh wow yea thats dreadful I would have yelled 'WHY DONT YOU SHUT UP AND STOP RUINING THE MOVIE!' I mean really though if she thinks everyone else was ruining it then what does she think she's doing?! hahaha when my sister and i went to see the new harry potte I had to pee realllyyyyy bad at a rather important part so I ran real quick (and i was sitting on the side of the theater so no one was distracted or annoyed or anything) and I ran back it took me like ten seconds tops haha but anyways i get back sit down and then burp REALLYYYYYYYYYY LOUD it was so weird because I almost NEVER belch but the WHOLE theater is cracking up and sniffling and stuff cause Dumbledore was like dying basically. I think he would have appreciated the situation.

I hope no persons are rude during New Moon or they may get a foot up their butt. :lmao:

That is rude to talk during movie though. It only tell you not to be distraction in beginning before movie start lot of times.

Yeah, that's true, but your situation was absolutely ridiculous and it has nothing to do with us 'wanting to bash someone'.

It's not a 'you had to be there moment', it's a 'grow up and stop being irritating moment'. :thumbsup2

For real! The adults act worse then the kids sometimes! It's outragious. Kids just act that way because they're bored, adults act like that because they want some attention.

Agreed.
