I have a ?? about the forum the other night. Obama was asked about gay marriage. He kept saying he was okay with it. For the fact that his marriage was strong enough So did he mean that if you are opposed to gay marriage that your marriage is weak

I don't know for sure what he meant but maybe that allowing gay marriage would not make his marriage weaker. Some argue that allowing gays to marry would somehow make marriage weaker for everyone, so maybe that is what he meant.

I'm not an Obama supporter however I'll offer my opinion.

To me it was pretty obvious that was what he meant. I think any attempt to read something different into it is done purely for partisan reasons.

I'm actually rather disappointed in Obama's stance on gay marriage. I think we all know how John McCain feels about it and that's no surprise. Personally I have a hunch, purely my own opinion, that Obama would favor gay marriage however he realizes that if he publicly supported it, his bid for the Presidency would likely be over.

I'm sure he does have a strong marriage. He's scared of the hurtin' Michelle would put on him if he didn't tow the line. I can honestly see him running from her...she's no whimp.
