Obama Supporters, A question?

I seriously doubt Clinton would agree to be the VP. She's not going to settle for second place, when she's spent all these years preparing for #1.

As for Obama as her VP - I think it's a possibility, but there's an equally good chance that the primary mudslinging will get so personal and so out-of-control that it'll be impossible to mend fences.

It's also a possibility they'll get along just fine, too. But thanks for playing.;)

Of course, there's that possibility. :) We are, after all, merely expressing our opinions of future political events on a Disney message board.

But if I were wagering, it's not a bet I would take.

Did you just insinuate that blacks are incapable of understanding his positions? :confused3

He didn't just insinuate....he said it loud and clear. Well, from someone who believes Obama is one step away from turning the US into a Muslim terrorist nation, what do you expect?

I don't understand why people are being so mean. We are all adults and should respect each other. I don't agree with a lot of people on here, but I respect their opinions. We all have one thing in common, we all want the best for our country. Lets just express our views and respect each other.:goodvibes

Really? I doubt Obama would choose Clinton. NY will probably go blue any way......

She'd certainly choose him. He's got a "movement." ;)

Whether he'd accept? Don't know......
I don't expect Obama to offer the VP to Hillary, but will offer pretty much any other job she wants.

The point isn't winning NY (which the Democratic candidate will do no matter what). It's recognizing that there are a whole lot of Democrats who really like her and have worked hard to support her. You want to reward those folks, not slap them in the face.

If those were opinions and not outright lies-then maybe people could respect them.

It's been said many times here-everyone is entitled to their own opinions but they are not entitled to their own facts.

One thing Obama said that bothered me was ....

that ..well I can say that Hillarys voters will vote for me...but I can honestly say that I dont think my voters will vote for her....

That was one of a few things true or not that should not been said to the media by him.

He did hesitate saying it but he did anyway....

I would like to have hered him say that he would ralley for Hillary if she got the nod. He made it sound like he wanted them to not vote for her if it came down to it.

Jenny, thank you for the insightful post. I knew I was confused about how I felt about Huckabee and now I understand why.;)
You know ... I also get all confused about the "Huckabee". I keep on thinking this guy is running:

I understand what he means but if that was the quote, then it came out wrong. I think he means he has a lot of moderate support which might vote for mccain if hillary gets the nod

I saw the interview and I thought it sounded bad the way he said it, but I also agreed with him. I think it's more likely that moderates will go for him than for Hillary-even though his voting record is quite liberal

This is part of the reason this is such an unique election. The cross over vote is relatively strong for Obama. The is a new phenomenon. This strength has been a help with the recent string of Obama victories. It should also help him should he be elected. He has a broad base of support.

Those independents and republicans polled, though, generally state they are crossing over for a person-Obama. They aren't crossing over to vote a straight Democratic ticket regardless of who's at the top.

DH and I have been talking about this situation. We lean much more to Obama than anyone else. We don't consider ourselves Democrat or Republican but lean more toward the Dem's stance. Neither one of us care for Hillary Clinton but clearly wouldn't want McCain to win either. I think we are still undecided if the election is McCain vs. Clinton

This is the same for me.
I'd rather have had Edwards, but since he's dropped out, I now support Obama. I can't stand Hillary. Never could and never will.
