We are going to do an on board booking next week. Want a veranda, should we do a guaranteed stateroom. Or just book a regular veranda room.

Thanks

I prefer to book a specific room, if I can. I'm not sure what type of "guaranteed" room you talking about (GTY or VGT).

Are you looking at a specific cruise?

Looking at the June 11th 2017 Dream 5 day. Wanting a veranda (first time for veranda)
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks

If there's a specific room you're interested in, it's best to book as far ahead as you can. Also, prices are lower the further out you book.

I don't believe you can book a *GT as an OBB, but those aren't going to be available next week for June 2017 anyway.

Until a certain percentage of staterooms are booked, I don't know that you can opt for GTY -- the system defaults to select a stateroom and the CM booking would likely do so for you. If a particular category has gone GTY, then yes you can book that as an OBB. GTY is not a special or reduced rate. It simply means you allow DCL to choose a stateroom for you in that specific category or higher -- but as much as it may seem people get upgraded, most do not.

Enjoy your cruises!
