O/T Throwing a pirates princess birthday party ?

For anyone who has been to one any little cool extras I can add in. We are playing 2 games. Pin the treasure on the map and walk the plank. I have lots of pirate and princess gear and beads. Any other suggestions the party is tomorrow. I am so excited and so is my son!!!

That is so funny.... DD is having her birthday party tomorrow too with a Pirate and Princess theme.

I have no new games to add, sorry. I am on bedrest so the DD's party had to change from home to the restaurant of an Inn so our activites are limited. I have a crown making craft/pirate bookmark craft and the old standby marshmellow snowmen. All the girls are dressing in their princess gowns and the boys as pirates....it is now a formal luncheon. We got the private room with one round table that holds 14 people. Wish me luck with kids at a birthday party at a fancy restaurant with the ladies lunching around us.....

OMG - I planning one also - I picked up a load of pirate and princess gear after Halloween - Our party isn’t until Late August though. I wish I had creative ideas to share but I’m waiting until after our trip to start planning - only one obsessive event at a time . . .

OK I will take some pics of it so everyone can see how it turned out. It is pretty cool so far. I just got white paper party bags and they have to desigin their own pirate flag and the winner gets a big prize.

My friends DS have a Pirates and Princess party this past summer. Her DH was such a good sport and dressed up like a pirate and did a treasure hunt with the kids. they hid clues through out the yard, he read the clue and all the kids had to find the next one. In the last spot was a Treasure Chest pinata.
The kids loved it.
