I have to agree with the other posters WG is fine for shop looking but Transit Road and the Boulevard Mall area are the best for buying.
We shop for the DGC at Kohl's they seem to have the best and up to date clothing at huge discounts( the winter clothing should be 60-80% off about now) and their jumping beans clothing for the up to 8 years of age is usally 30-50% off to start.
They also carry some of the nicest women's clothing (according to my DW) for large women at a fraction of the price here in Canada.
The Boulevard area has a lot of stores but can get busy by 10:00 a.m. with traffic.
The one thing I have to give the U.S. is when they have a sale they really have a sale not like up here where $2.00 of is considered a huge discount.

Wal-Mart super centers are the best for everyday items at great prices, milk bread( when was the last time you saw an .84 cent loaf of bread?) cheese and dry goods are usally priced very cheap.
My vote for lunch Old Countery buffet to pig out or Red Lobster on Maple Ave. there is no comparision between the U.S. version and Canadian, U.S. wins hands down for service, taste and portion size.

there huge!!
Enjoy!!
