Warning... here's a long post...
With my first, we had been trying for over two years, the whole infertility route except IVF. At IVF, we gave up. Completely. Within the timeframe of trying, however, I did get pregnant and lost the baby. Six months after we gave up, I had a dream one night. I was standing in my old family house I grew up in, looking out the garage door, down the driveway to this old, 40's looking car and man walking up the driveway. He was holding a little girl with blond curly hair who was maybe a year old. He comes into the house, next to me and my dh, and hands me the baby and says, "You're a mother now". In the dream this HUGE, HEAVY weight suddenly comes over my chest and I panic because I have no baby supplies, but then I remember I just got a new credit card and can buy anything I need

. The next day, something from this dream lingered and I went to the mall, bought a pregnancy test (I was one day late - not abnormal) and took it in the mall restroom (so my dh wouldn't find it and freak out about my "obsession" again, lol). Lo and behold, it was positive and I instantly calculated my due date... it was the same due date as the first pregancy, March 26th! Yeah, I freaked! DS was born on March 20th weighing 10 lbs 13oz.
My second... The little girl showed up again in a dream, this being only the second time she was in my dreams. I don't remember the specifics, only that I woke up and thought, "OMG! It was her!!!". I took ds (22 mo) to
Walmart and bought a test (it was 3 days before I was due) and it was positive! DD was born August 10th.
My third... Ummm... no dreams, just my friend asking me if I was pregnant. I said, "NO!!"... I had just weaned dd at 14 months and was not ready to be pregnant again or ever! She was convinced I was and I was convinced she was crazy! I took a pregnancy test at her house on Halloween night, just to prove her wrong, and ummmm... I've never seen a test turn positive that FAST!!

We (me, my friend, my other friend dressed in drag for halloween, and her daughter) stood in her kitchen for 15 minutes trying to figure out a way to tell my dh... he wasn't thrilled at first!

DD was born June 16th.
Those are my stories and I'm sticking to them!
