o/t pin trading at uk disney stores!!

hi all
well, i know theres a few of us that collect the pins and wud like to trade, but have to wait til we go to dlrp or dl etc - well, according to the disneystore website - they are starting pin trading - so u can trade with cm in store, and buy more pins online, as well as limited editions!!!

not a huge thing - but def sumthin to watch!!

I saw this last week in the Milton Keynes store, the cm said that they were going to trial it to see how well it took off and that they were going to do specific UK store ones. She seemed quite impressed with the idea!

They've been selling pins in the disney store for a little while now - it seems they've removed most of those now and are about to relaunch it.

I've got a few from the old selection which I bought I'd bought (or been bought) since about September, including the gorgeous Mickey and Minnie Christmas ones which you can still buy online

I went to town yesterday and our Disney Store has closed down too! It was still trading last weekend. I wonder what is happening.....!

I think this sounds brilliant. I wonder if they are doing it in Leicester. Hope that isn't one of the stores which has shut. I have noticed recently that the stock held doesn't seem as vast as it used to be.

Think I will have to pay a visit next weekend. When I'm not at Disneyland Paris I often go to the store and look round imagining that I am in a shop in the park with all the fun happening outside. Am I sad?

I asked at the store at Manchester Trafford Centre before Christmas and they said they didnt sell them there. They had just been trialling the selling in some stores across the UK

We have been selling them-and had 2 christmas limited edition pins but haven't been told about trading

I bought a few limited edition pins in the large store on Oxford St. Went there yesterday but they didn't mention anything about pin trading... I'll ask next time we're there (probably next weekend )

Was in Disney Store in Oldham today and my dd was looking at the pins on display, CM heard us talking and said all CM's would have pins to trade soon and that they would have limited editions and hidden mickey ones.
He also said he goes to Disney a lot and has over 1700 pins

Yes I was in Blackpool last week and bought the new Maleficent one and the CM there said he was quite looking forward to the pin trading. He said they had had the delivery of cast pins but they couldn't look at them yet or do anything with them.

I did some pin trading at the Disney Store in Birmingham yesterday, the CM said that I was the 1st trade the store had done (I got the flying Tink core pin which was good as that was the pin I was actually going into the store to buy!!)

I bought 2 new pins today LE Alice and Sleeping Beauty/Castle. CM had on his Lanyard and was ready to trade. I forgot to take mine with me though.

My nearest Disney Store is 40 miles away in York. But it might be worth a visit.

Up to now we have only collected WDW pins. I only have about 60 pins but mostly LE's, special events and even some cast only pins. Now we are going to start going to DLRP we are going to collect pins from there. What does everyone else specialise in.

I wonder if Dis Store is going to do pin trading whether people will trade in their park pins, only to be grabbed by people like us!

I collect Minnie and Tink pins, plus park and ride pins from the Disney parks I have been to. I collect some cast lanyard sets too if I think they are cute.
