O.T. - Oprah Bra??

Hi, I need to go bra shopping and thought I would like to try the Oprah Bra which is Le Mystere. Has anyone tried this bra?? There are SO MANY to choose from (online). Are they sold in Departments stores?? And how do they fit?? I have a large cup size DD but a medium size back 36,so it takes me awhile to find a COMFORTABLE and GOOD fit!! Any insight or HELP is appreciated!! Thanks, Joan

I didn't know it had been on Oprah, but I just went bra shopping and purchased one at Macys. I tried on several sizes and types until I found the one I liked best.

Not sure if this helps but I just saw on Rachael Ray that you can find them on ebay (not used of course) and that they are quite affordable that way.

I bought this bra at Nordstrom's and absolutely love it! I'm a 38DD and it fits great. It's not a cheap bra, but it has held up very well. I used to always buy a Lunaire bra, but they stopped making the one I like. I second the E-bay thing. What I do is go to Nordstrom's, get fitted and find a bra I really like and buy it. After that I usually buy the same bra off of E-bay for much cheaper. HTH

I bought the bra and strongly recommend it. I don't know if there are any Lady Grace stores near you but they sell them and fit you. Look at the bras at TJMaxx or Marshalls. They often have them there for a lot less money. Funny thing my name is also Joan and I wear a 36dd like you.

Thanks, I am actually heading to the mall in Providence that has a Nordstoms tomorrow. Hopefully I will find one that fits well and then be able to search for cheaper options! Joan

How much does the other bra run I know I bought the Spanx one at Dillards and it was 69.00 . I had a breast reduction so I have a scar now and I find now that my favorite bras are now uncomfortable : (

Just noticed that you are in Barrington, I grew up Portsmouth. You might want to check out Deborah Winthrop's Lingerie in Portsmouth on West Main Rd. I remember when I lived there I bought a couple of bras from her, and she's very good with fit. You might want to check it out.

I'm between a 34 and 36 DDD...and I hate bra shopping. I just searched for Le Mystere on Google shopping and bluefly.com has some...and Zappos of all places.

The bras I bought are called Renaissance. When I checked them I remembered the sizing was different. I bought a 36f. All my other bras from Victoria Secret are 36dd so it could be that particular bra runs different. Good luck! I am sure you will see that your clothes look better on you when you have a great bra on.

Macy's stock will vary depending on which Macy's you visit. The Macy's that are closer to (and in) Boston tend to carry more higher-end merchandise than the ones here in RI. Filene's was the same way.
