I have a home daycare and my wee ones always make something for mom and dad for mother's day/father's day.
this year I've come up with the idea of a shoe box of surprises for mom and doing something similar for dad when the time comes but need some more suggestions on surprises I can add for mom......
what I have so far is:
1. tissue paper flower and a toilet paper roll holder for the brekie in bed tray - along with a 'coupon' for breakfast in bed.
2. Tea bag with a poem I found to go with it
3. magnet for the fridge - an angel with child's face as the angel's face
4. home made chocolate chip cookies for afternoon snack for the family (I bake with the kids all the time)
Not sure what else to put into it and would really appreciate some help. Needs to be cheap and cheerful as I have 6 families to do this for. Don't like to spend more then $5 per child on the whole craft - ages of kids range from 2yrs old to 7 yrs old - all the younger 2yo's have older sibs and will do just one for mom together.
