sorry, just had to share!!:cool1:
when to derby and just HAD to go to the disneystore, and that meant i just HAD to buy something so i could flash my card!!
i did double check what you could get discount on and its basically everything but media (cds, dvds, books) and gift vouchers - so it is a good deal....
so i ended up buying ds2 a roo (when pg with him his nickname was roo) and a disneys mcqueen car, ds1 (in his absence) a lil stitch (very cute, if he doesnt want it ill have it;) ) and sum minnie mouse pjs for me!!!
could quite happily have spent alot more, and saw some lovely girls dressing up - a beautiful ariel costume.... and loads of disney princess soft dolls, and a mary poppins soft doll (first time i seen one) and also they had the fairies merryweather, flora & fauna and they were really nice - was very tempted.......
i am gonna have to chop up my credit card at this rate!!

YEY!!

That's kinda the problem we had in DLRP. As we were getting 20% off of everything that we bought it felt like we should buy more as the saving was so good (hence why they offer the discount I suppose)

I still can't believe that on the Monday we paid 18 euros for three teddies and the very next day the woman infront of us at the Disney Store in the Villiage was paying 15 euros for just one of the teddies.

is that due to the discount??? wow - thats quite a saving!!!
i cant wait to flash my card in dlrp - ok, i cant wait to spend lmao

Partly. They were 15 euros normally, reduced to 7.50 in the sale then 20% off of the sale price.

I felt quite sorry for her but she was happy to buy them at full price and didn't know the price I'd paid the day before :goodvibes

Oooooooooooh, wish we had a Disney Store near us here, so I could flex my shiny new card!

On second thoughts, maybe it's just as well we don't :rotfl2:

At least I can try it out at the parks next week :woohoo: I think the discount on goods is better with the Dream Pass, but better on food with the shareholders card, if that makes sense?

perfect sense annette!!!!!!! i wud like the ap but cant justify it :sad2: but am happy to get 'sumthin' off - as then i can justify spending more:rolleyes1

cap'njack - such a good deal then - i wud want them as cheap as poss - but obviously there are ppl out there that have more money than me (or dont spend it as quick):lmao:

Not sure what it is for Shareholders but for Dream Passes it 20% in the shops and 10% in the restuarants.

Shareholders is 15% on both I think, so Dream AP will be used in the shops and Shareholders card in the restaurants I think ;)

yes - 15% on both - so u can mix n match a bit! ;) they certainly are good benefits whichever way u go......
am hopin to pick up sum nice xmas bits, and ever hopeful there might be stuff on sale too (but prob wont be lol)

ds1 is dead chuffed with his cuddly stitch.... at least now it means we can go n see stitch live! :cool1:

Stitch Live is fantastic, we saw it at Easter when it first started, hopefully we'll get along to see it again on this trip too! :stitch:

Ahhh thats good!!!:goodvibes

I want to use my discount in the Disney store, but im worried they will look at me 'like what's that?'...u no what i mean!.lol

when i asked, the girl asked me if it was me who had rung up earlier!!! i said no - but wondered who else there is around that also has a card & shops in derby???? lol
i think they all know about it - both members of staff knew about it!

I've never had a problem using my shareholders card in any Disney store (and I've used it in a few this year!!)
