Does anyone know what this is? Is it something they do every year? Where do they hold it? I don't "trade" pins but buy one occasionally. It sounds like something special for the HM, but then they made it sound like it happens every year. Sounds interesting. Anyone know anything about it?

Here is the blurb from Disney:

"In celebration of its 40th Anniversary, Guests will be invited to participate in our Disney Summer Pin Festival 2009 - Haunted Mansion O'Pin House. This annual Summer pin festival will feature specialty merchandise, open and limited edition pins, accessories and more. Plans are still being arranged, so hurry back to DisneyPins.com for more information."

They do a special pin trading thing every year.....the Summer Pin Festival is a lot of fun, it's what got us started with trading actually. They have carts set up in DL, DCA & DTD where you can trade for pins, they will have special pins around the back in the treasure chests or you can trade from the front of cart. They will have special merch for sale too, this years theme is the HM, last years theme was stamps and the year before that was a set that had different words with characters.

It does happen every year but it is a different theme each time.

so, are you thoroughly confused by my explanation? LOL

Nope, that made sense. :) More sense than the blurb from Disney. I might have to get some sort of HM pin for their anniversary.

Oh good, I'm glad I didn't totally confuse you. LOL
