O.K. mom's ....you all know what it's like trying to find something your child really, really wants? Well I live in Mississauga, Ontario and I cannot find these webkinz charms my dd keeps talking about. Everywhere I call they may have 1 or 2 but by the time I get there, the charms have been sold. Any help you can give me locating these things would be amazing!

Agree - check Hallmark or any store that sells Hallmark.

Carlton Cards could be another option. We don't have a Hallmark but our Carlton carries them.

As well we have a little knick knack store that also carries them. So a store that carries any type of collectible plates or ornaments might be another place.

Of course there is always ebay ....

if you find a store that has them, ask to pay on the phone right then and there with your Credit card. Thats what i did. The stores are saying they will be getting them shortly so if you can'f find them give it a couple of weeks.

I am surprised you can do that there still. You cannot even place a hold on a dubble bubble here with a credit card due to fraud.

2 of the stores that I use got them in a couple of weeks ago and sold out right away. Another store I was at just got them in yesterday. It seems like they are being shipped sporadically.

The store here that got them first told me that they were told by the Ganz rep that they probably would not get any more for a few months.

I am in Cambridge, if you want me to check my store again tomorrow I can and I could ship them to you. They would be able to go lettermail.

Hi Calliemom

I'm in Miss. too as of early this week Toys Toys Toys in Square 1 had some charms although the price on them was 9.99 $ which is a total rip off.

Animal Alley in Square 1 also had the Webkinz.

Scholars Choice on Dundas had some

And I also hear Mastermind Toys has some.

Have also seen them at La Senza Girl and Carlton Cards in Erin Mills.

If you go to the webkinz site it has a link to a store locator. I've found some stores in my area that sell them that I NEVER would have even thought to call.

becareful with the store locator. I used it to find some places to buy but discovered that a few of the stores that were listed haven't carried Webkinz for some time. Apparently once you put in an order for Webkinz you are on the list regardless if you put in another or order ever.

I was just in Fargo and Grand Forks, North Dakota and the Hallmark Gold Crown stores there had a ton of them there. I came home and asked here and was told they were all sold out and to keep trying. Perhaps it will be like Webkins themselves that were real hard to find at first and now there seems to be more stock in more of the stores that carry them. My daughter wants the charms really badly too. I bought some in the US and will save them for Christmas.

Im pretty sure I saw the webkinz sign in Macintosh's in Oakville place. Its right by the elevator, with DS I remember looking in and thinking it was odd that the collectable store had those..

There's also a toy store in South Common mall that has webkins (I think it's called Teddy 'N Me). There's a carlton cards there too. Not sure if they have the charms or not but it's worth a try.

Have you tried calling Here We Grow Again in Stittsville or Carlton Cards in Bayshore? Last I heard, they had some available - but could be hit and miss as you've been seeing...

OK, Teddy N Me carries the charms but they are sold out right now, Carlton cards at South Common doesn't have them.. sorry
