You deluxe people are tempting me to upgrade! LOL! Such luxury!

Tink or Belle (adorable username, I might add), we loved Raglan Road and will go back this time with my 100% Irish brother-in-law. He's a carpenter, too, and will enjoy seeing all the restaurant's hand-carved wood furniture imported from Ireland. I also saw his last name on some items in the gift shop. I know he'll get a kick out of that.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere at RR; it's a really beautiful place and the food was very good too. I had the "It's Not Bleedin' Chowder" and thought it was delicious. Others in my group got the Serious Sirloin and swore by it. Desserts are very special too.

Kim, as a former NYer, you must review Tutto when you get back. I'll look for your review to find out about what we missed.

We are going August 14-23, booked 14 & 15 with no dining plan, just over night stays. We have DDP August 16-23. Here is what we're going for...

8/15 Beach and T-Rex for dinner
8/16 Cindy's Royal Table Breakfast
QS dinner while waiting for parade to start
8/17 Typhoon Lagoon, just 2 QS meals
8/18 HS QS Breakfast, Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package
8/19 AK QS Breakfast, having a hard time deciding on dinner. Maybe Y&Y, but Tusker house would be better for kids I think. If we can't get ADRs for after the park closes then we'll head over to Boma
8/20 Epcot I had been thinking Ohana for breakfastsee diferent plan below) and eating QS dinner while waiting for Illuminations
8/21 MK QS Breakfast and Crystal Palace Dinner. If we can't get Royal Table for 8/16, will try for 8/21 and do Crystal Palace that day
8/22 Not going to make any ADRs. Gonna let the kids decide a day or 2 before what park they wanna go to this day and go with the flow
8/23 I'm thinking saving Ohana breakfast for this day. We need to leave for the airport at 1130, so instead of bumming around being sad we're leaving making a 9 ressie for a fun last character breakfast at Ohana :goodvibes

We are also going the end of August hopefully I can get these ADRs:

Day 1 Pop Century for dinner (arriving late afternoon)
Day 2 Lunch at Flame Tree BBQ, Dinner at Narcoosees
Day 3 Lunch at 50s diner, Dinner at Sci-fi
Day 4 Lunch at Columbia House, Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern
Day 5 Universal Studios lunch at Bubba Gumps, dinner at Pop Century
Day 6 Lunch at Sunshine Seasons, Dinner at Rose & Crown during Illuminations
Day 7 Lunch at The Plaza, Dinner at Ohanas
Day 8 1 CS meal (undecided)

So excited, cannot wait to make ADR's

Kim, as a former NYer, you must review Tutto when you get back. I'll look for your review to find out about what we missed.

I will do a review when I get back for sure. We are going 8/26-9/3 with a possible extra night off property to surprise kids with Sea World. I have read reviews from NYers that have enjoyed Tutto so I am hopeful. I know our very first trip we were mortified by what was called "pizza" :rotfl:
I have to agree with you about the Dxl Dining. I always thought it would be too much food, but some of the people on here make you think about diving into it.

We are going for 10 nights at the end of August. We have a hard time going to new places, cause we can't give up our favorites LOL. We are eating at T Rex Cafe our first afternoon, but that doesn't count for our TS credits.

Our hopefuls so far are

Ohana~ Love it here!!

Crystal Palace for dinner~ My kids need and I stress NEED the Thai Curry Mussels

Yak N Yeti~ Another new fav of ours!!

Coral Reef

Garden Grill

Kona dinner~ Loved it last year

Hollywood and Vine Breakfast~ New for us

LeCellier

Chefs De France~ New for us

Whispering Canyon for lunch

Then as a back up, Prime Time Cafe

We're there 8/29 - 9/6. We have me, dh, ds7 and dd5:

Day 1 - Arrival - pickup takeout pizza from POP food court for dinner at the pool.
Day 2 - Full MK day. Late breakfast CP. Dinner - Cosmic Ray's
Day 3 - Typhoon Lagoon - CS. Dinner Luau (grand gathering with 20 people)
Day 4 - DHS - Lunch Sci-Fi. Dinner - Cape May
Day 5 - Daytime?? - Dinner Chefs De France
Day 6 - MK 1/2 day - lunch Columbia HH OR Tony's. Dinner WPE at DTD.
Day 7 - EPCOT all day - lunch - Yakitori House (new - can't wait). Dinner - LeCellier (hopefully)
Day 8 - AK morning - Donald's safari breakfast. Dinner POP food court
Day 9 - Leave early

I'm debating about the lunch at Sci-Fi and the lunch at Tony's...I'm thinking about dh and I splitting a burger at Sci-Fi (and maybe getting a milkshake as a drink and one as a dessert so we both get one??) - then we'd have one more credit to use and split at Tony's. We'd just have to pay OOP for the kids meals at Tony's. However, I wouldn't mind Columbia HH either. So I'm debating.

IF they have a 'trade in a TS' meal deal, we might just split one meal at Sci-Fi and trade the other one in. I guess I'll play that one by ear.

Arriving 9/29, departing 10/4 - 5 nights. Current plans for TS are

'Ohana (new for us)
Narcoosee's (new for us)
Raglan Road (new for us)
Cape May Cafe (an old favorite)

Counter Services will most likely be at:

POP food court
Tangerine Cafe -me (lunch)
Harry Ramsdens - DH (Lunch)
Cantina San Angel (OOP supper)
Earl of Sandwich
Cookes of Dublin

We are flying in on Wednesday Sept 23rd in the evening and flying back on Sunday Sept 27th in the afternoon, so a quick trip! Since we are going "commando" style on this vacation our plans are to eat early TSH breakfasts, then probably a snack, then CS suppers, with one leftover CS to use at traveling discretion! Tentative plans:

TS
Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
Crystal Palace (breakfast, new to us, have done dinner there)
Boma (breakfast on check-out day, tour AK lodge, never been there)
?? Other TS (maybe Akershus breakfast, maybe 1800 Park Fare, suggestions anyone??)

CS
Flame Tree BBQ (Yum Yum!)
Cosmic Ray's (maybe twice depending on where we are which night)
Suggestions? We tried Sunshine Seasons but didn't really care much for it. Might end up at Pizza Planet which we did last year but we're open to suggestions!

Here's my wish list for 9 nights 9/18-9/27:

TS:
Chef Mickey's - Dinner
Crystal Palace - Lunch
Play & Dine - Lunch
1900 Park Fare - Dinner
Ohana - Dinner
Boma - Dinner
Akershus - Lunch
Biergarten - Lunch
??????

CS:
Flame Tree BBQ
Yak & Yeti - CS
Cosmic Rays
Catalina Eddies
Starring Rolls
Main Street Bakery
Tangerine Cafe

As you can see, we like the buffets and character meals. We are still deciding between a second lunch at Akershus (because we love the food) or the Garden Grill (which we enjoyed last year for the 1st time) for our last open slot. Good luck to all of you in getting the ADR's you want!

You thought of a creative way to use your TS credits, brymolmom, by splitting them to dine at two lower-cost TS locations. That may be a very good idea to consider. :)

The mistake I made last year was to schedule the same number of ADRs as we had TS meal credits. Twice, we had to miss our ADRs. :(

First full day in town, we got caught in a torrential downpour on the bus ride to the MK and missed our ADR for dinner at the Crystal Palace. Wound up eating CS at Roaring Forks instead that night and used the left TS at Captain Jack's on our last day. It wasn't terrible, but if I would have picked something else if I knew we were going to miss that ADR.

Another day, we missed our breakfast ADR at Cape May Cafe. All the kids on the trip wound up sleeping in my room, and I couldn't get them up and to the restaurant before noon. We took the boat over to ESPN and had lunch there instead. Again, not the best use of a TS credit.

This trip, I am scheduling a few low-cost meals late in the trip that can be paid OOP or cancelled if we're on track with our ADRs. Brymolmom, your idea is another way to back-up my ADRs. Hmmm....

Good luck to you too Arielmomma! :wizard:

If you like the buffets--my family does--consider the Cape May Cafe. We've found it to be a very good Disney buffet, and it's convenient to both DHS and Epcot. We're planning to eat dinner there on DHS EMH night, then try to catch the second showing of Fantasmic.

We're going June 23-29th. Here's where we are going.....

Chef Mickeys Dinner
Crystal Palace Breakfast
Cape May Cafe Dinner (a first for us)
Sci Fi (late lunch/early dinner)
Coral Reef Dinner (a first for us)
Whispering Canyone Cafe Dinner (never been for dinner before, just breakfast)

We are planning on all TS if we do DXDP, as we enjoyed it last year. We can always do CS if we miss one.

Crystal Palace
Brown Derby FDP
Hoop De Doo
Mickey's BBQ
Park Faire
