It's ok - first time in history of the school making playoffs (or even being close) - or at least since the early 1970's - the only problem we have is that swim season is heating up and Kara is already committed to a couple of meets that could be during plays offs

If they make the playsoff - I don't feel that they will make it past round one - especially if you go by last night's game

all this constant activity is starting to wear me down - or at least the last couple of weeks

I was a bad mom - I stayed home today - just too long to sit in a cold bleacher seat for 2 compeitions plus add driving time - guess I am just too old

Kara called a bit ago and they scored 3 overall in their class at the first competition - they had all eaten and were loading the truck and heading off to the 2nd competition - they don't compete until 10:15 p.m. tonight

I met with Nan, Paul, Molly, Willy, Sister, and Grandma today, we had a fun time, Willy came in first, he got a very nice trophy, then it was off to In and Out for burgers (Arite you got to try 1)

hi all....what a great baby shower & a great turnout - even the weather (tried) to be perfect - it did get cool by late afternoon....

How nice that Rus met up with the Skjerven's AND even more exciting is that Wilson got FIRST place Congrats to you!!!!

off to spend some time with hubby~maybe play a little guitar hero....

Not only was it a great race but Rus was a great good luck charm and now I'm gonna have to worry and he and Paul sneaking off for beer runs all week long

Rus, thanks so much for not only coming to cheer Willie on but for being such a good sport to having Paul for you into pit labor

Lee & I had a great time on the way home, In & Out Burgers yummy, then we did some cruise shopping at the outlets and Molly, Grammie and Nan have some cute matchey matchey outfits to wear and share with you all

I'll post some shots tomorrow and I got the Reno tape and better yet Rus taped Wilson's race today too!!!!

2nd one - best auxillary (flags,rifles,sabers etc), 2nd overall and the spirit award plus they scored at both enough points to compete at the Ohio Music Education state meet next weekend

Today Ryan & I will be at the computer(s) all day doing one college appl after another....want to get all 5-6 done & then he can start working on his essays...scholarships....teacher recommendations and i'll get to switch to all the finanacial stuff....

Hi everyone!

Just popping in to say hi. After next weekend, I should have some free time. Unfortunately, due to all our injuries to the starters, our football team won't be going to the playoffs. The only year they didn't was in 02. That means no more marching band after next week. Next week is senior night for the band. We are losing 23 seniors this year. I think there will be a lot of tears that night.

Kelly has been doing a lot of visiting to colleges. She has it narrowed down to 2 favorites. She sent in her applications, and is working on her essays. They are Walsh University in Alliance, Ohio, and Mount Union in North Canton, Ohio. She can join the band at Mount Union if she chooses that one. Both are very small schools-that's what she was looking for. They are both about an hour and a half away. I can handle that.

Jimmy just came home for a quick visit, so I'm going to go now.....
